Intersting. Lets see if they can swing Sackhoff and Park too.

She does? Never seen that myself, she always seems quite self-deprecating.

Wait... you're not one of those folks still po'ed that they maqde Starbuck a woman, are ya?

And she can act. It's not all about the looks.

Hmmm, I'm a girl and I love both Katee Sackhoff and the character of Starbuck.

We all have our own impressions of folks. I've always thought of her as being pretty self-effacing and less glamorous than dedicated to her work.

On the actual subject of the thread - ahem- sorry about that.

I'm thrilled that Jamie Bamber will be joining the cast of DollHouse for as much as we can get of him.

It's the whole package. Starting with I'm deeply in love with the Starbuck and some of that feeling has to rub off on the woman who plays her. And then there is the looks and the talent. Also hormones are why men are attracted to all women (well heterosexual men at any rate) the reasons that men are differently attracted to different women is far more complex.

Have you seen Law and Order: UK? Lots of Jamie Bamber with his real, lovely English accent. In Canada they show it on CityTV. I have no idea if/where it's on in the US. Helpful, aren't I?

Well yes! Tempting as well! LOL

I will hunt thru my tv listings and see if I can find it. Maybe on BBCAmerica?

Well. According to a very quick search, it was originally broadcast on iTV in the UK and I don't think it has aired in the US yet:

I would never advocate anything illegal (although, file sharing isn't illegal in Canada, but I digress) but I believe the series can be found, um, elsewhere on the web.

I feel slightly more helpful now, and also slightly guilty for telling you about something you might not be able to see!

No need to feel guilty. There are plenty of things I get introduced to every day that I have to wait to see, usually the suggestion is awesome and I'm happy to wait.

Hmmm, I will have to look about.

Law & Order: UK.

I have not seen this in the U.S. and I watch Special Victims Unit and Criminal Intent and never seen any sign of this other show. Don't understand why. I enjoy a lot of shows from the U.K. I am religiouly watching the new Doctor Who series. Miss the cheesy effects of the original series, but you can't have everything.

I think they will never air Law & Order UK because there's already a Law & Order USA.

I've read that news a few weeks back. I hope Jamie gets a multi-episode arc or 1 whole season to be with Dollhouse but so far he appears on premier episode of season 2. Michael Hogan will appear soon too.

I hope there'll be like a Bamber-Hogan-Penikett reunion. LOL. Or at least Bamber and Penikett will share screen time.

You're probably right about the Law & Order series.
The U. K. has all the best shows. We get cheesy realiy shows, like "Megan Wants to Marry a Millionaire", and then it turns out one of the contestants has murdered his wife in California. The guy is Canadian. But he had to go nuts in the United States. We are such winners here.

Anyway. What ever Joss has planned will be interesting. I don't know the whole background, but it looks like the Dollhouse is just the tip of the iceburg. My understanding is greater things are happening in the backgraound.

Of course. She elicits what Joss would call a 'man-reaction'. :) And it's a good thing, btw.

No need to see thru her, unless she's wearing a see-thru dress. :P

P.S. Was that shallow enough for you? if you want, I can probably manage to drain a little more out of the pool. :)

P.P.S. I don't think Starbuck is all that hot, really. I always had more of a thing for Cally, really.

Of couse Starbuck is hot. You have to agree that the majority of the key demo of Dollhouse is of the male species that's why they have Dushku wearing all those sexy attires and prolly why Viktor's the only male doll as a regular.

Agreed. For the sake of parity, I don't see they have any choice but to stick Topher in a Speedo.
