Aspiring writer and Browncoat!

It's been a long time since I've been to this site.

Anyways, to business: recently, I found out that select theatres throughout Canada (and possibly the US, but I'm not sure) will be hosting an event called The Great Digital Film Festival. Basically, select theatres will be screening digitally enhanced versions of some fan favourite films, sci-fi and otherwise. Included in the list of films being screened are the three Back to the Future films, Robocop, Jurrasic Park, Spaceballs, and Serenity!

As soon as I found out, I got so excited that I wanted to hijack the nearest plane and pull a Crazy Ivan.

Anyways, I've bought tickets to go to one of the screenings of Serenity, and thought that I wouls share this information with all of the Browncoats here. Who knows? Maybe, if enough people show up in the audience, it might send a message to FOX. It's a longshot, but hey, it's still a good movie, and I'm really excited to see it in the theatres!

I know other people who went, and found & heard things they had never known before, no matter how many times they've seen Serenity. Since Universal is no longer sending out 35mm films for Can't Stop The Serenity events in the States, it's a good thing that the DCP version is so good.
