SPOILER!

Select to view spoiler:

Mal:
You all got on this boat for different reasons,
but you've all come to the same place.
So now I'm asking more of you than I have before.
Sure as I know anything, I know this: I aim to misbehave.

I'm taking your sister under my protection, here.

Jayne:
The only people she's a threat to, is us on this boat.

River:
It isn't safe. They're coming.

Mal:
I think we'd better go.

Reaver:
--roar--

"Operative":
Where are you hiding, little girl?

Mal:
[If] The Alliance wanted to reason, they shouldn't've sent an assassin.

"Operative":
Every minute you keep River Tam from me, more people will die.
This is your fault.

Mal:
I don't murder children.

"Operative":
I do.

[someone new?]:
The Alliance has gone to enormous trouble to find your friend. You'll know what it is you're carrying.

[another someone new, a twin, maybe?]:
Do you know that girl?

Mal:
She is a might unpredictable. Mood swings, of a sort.

"Operative":
It's worse than you know.

Mal:
It usually is.

Zoe:
It's a fair bet the Alliance knows what's coming.

Mal:
No. They're not going to see this coming.

Jayne:
Let's be bad guys.

Zoe:
We're not alone.

Mal:
No more running.

Wash:
This is going to get pretty interesting.

Mal:
Define 'interesting'.

Wash:
'Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die.'

"Operative":
I want to resolve this like civilized men. I'm not threatening you; I'm unarmed.

Mal:
Good.

[someone new?], according to IMDB that's Mr Universe.

And I think [another someone new, a twin, maybe?]: is either Fanty or Mingo.

Did they kiss your ass to your satisfaction?

Shiny!

Isn't Mr. Universe the mathematician in the show called NUMB3RS?

Yup, Mr. Universe is the guy from Numb3rs, and he also play Bernard the elf from the Santa Clause movies.

I've re-watched the trailer about 30 times, and I hear "I am to misbehave", not "I aim to misbehave". I think it fits the context of Mal's speech better too.

I don't think "I am" makes sense. At least, not to me.

shouldnt "i am to" be the same as "im going to"? which would make more sense to me than "aim to". but then, my ears refuse to hear jaynes first word as "let's" as well and it sounds more like "cause" (which really isnt making sense with "be bad guys").. how about trailers with subtitles? preferably based on the script and not some half deaf guy as the one doing the dvds.

Right. I aim would fit into Mal's rural background vernacular. I am to misbehave ...as River is to crazy? Sounds like Mal is brushing up for his SAT's.

No, I aim makes perfect sense, as in I am about to... , or I'm fixin' to..

I can't believe I'vs spent this much time posting about this

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

You are right. I just watched a bit of a John Wayne movie and a guy said "you aim to leave?" and JW replied "I aim to do whatever I want", therefore I think "I aim" is used appropriately here.
