I'm in Tulsa. This years Trek Expo is all manner of embarassing, so I go seeking other Sc-Fi cons. Only problem is I don't know where to find this kind of info. Anybody know of some sites that specialize in Convention Info. Willing to go to Dallas or St Louis. All help appreciated.

OK so all I gotta do is figure out how to get to Dragon-Con. I could just remind my wife that my birthday is coming up.

YT

the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

Locus has an excellent SF & Fantasy con listing http://www.locusmag.com/ . That's their home page -- I thought you might be interested in the magazine, too. The link to their convention listing is on the left of the page.

But if you're interested in written SF, one of the two best conventions is in August, & (in Texas terms) just a hoot'n'a holler fuhther'n Big D (well, OK, to ordinary folk it's two thirds farther) http://www.fact.org/dillo/ .

Keep the Shiny Side Up . . . (wutzon) ZZ Top, "Cheap Sunglasses", from "Chrome, Smoke & BBQ"

ps: If you go to an SF con & refer to the literature as SciFi, you'll mark yourself as a rookie. Don't worry 'bout it in Baja Oklahoma -- the 'dillerCon crew are a convivial bunch.

A list of cons, mostly in the northeastern US.
