Hey all- I'm sure you all have, like me, seen the trailer now a dozen times or more - So I have to ask - What line or exchange from the trailer gave you the tinglies?

I have to go with a 2-way tie between Mals' "No....they're not gonna see this coming" - That line is delivered with so much intensity it gives me goosebumps

And Jayne's "Let's be bad guys"- As a Jayne fan, I can't wait to see AB's role in the film -

I'm so excited now I can't stand it -

Hands down for me is the exchange between Mal and Wash..."Define interesting." "Uh, Oh God, oh Gode we're all gonna die?"

Pure Joss. And great deliver from Wash.

Hands down, it's the following set of lines:
Wash: Things are gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define interesting.
Wash: Oh god, oh god, we're all gonna die!

Take my love
Take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care
I'm still free
You can't take the sky from me
Take me out to the black
Tell 'em I ain't comin' back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take the sky from me
There's no place I can be
Since I've found Serenity
But you can't take the sky from me

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Loved that one!

I liked Jayne's "Let's be bad guys" as well.

I really liked Mal's "I aim to misbehave".

Have to agree with this one!

Can I have a favourite "silent" bit too? The look on Mal's face as he draws back that fan to watch River - priceless!

In reference to the "No....they're not gonna see this coming"

Select to view spoiler:

I think this revolves around Reavers attacking the Alliance. If you look closely at a sceen in the middle of the trailer, you see Serenity in space with tons of ships appearing around it. Most look like Reaver ships...what do you think?

Yay! glad to know i was missed. I saw the post for the Neroli and Gunhand rescue mission and being the vain girl i am was all what about me?

It's good to be back, i was off being the multi-fandom whore that I am, and neglected my favorite fandom of all. I must repent by watching the trailer a bajillion times when i get home.

i litterally hyperventilated when i saw it the first time.

That would be from the beginning of Bushwhacked (I suspect):

WASH

Oh my god. What can it be? We're all doomed! Who's flying this thing!?
(deadpan)
Oh right, that would be me. Back to work.

There were some great lines, and plenty of the trademark humour which was cool, but hands down for me was the exchange:

"I don't kill children."

"I do."

Dark and intense - this ain't pulling punches.

Loved how it finished on Mal shooting first as well. As long as Joss doesn't go Lucas on us and re-cut and CGI for the special edition...

Most definitely, I second that. A lovely WTF-is-she-up-to-now expression.

And this I second too:

I think we got yourselves another wonderful and creepy villain.

Btw, is there something wrong with my ears cause I keep hearing "murder" instead of "kill" in Mal's line?

And did you notice the very matter-of-fact way the villain said he killed children. I brush my teeth, I eat my breakfast, I kill children, kind of tone of voice. He is going to be fun. I hope River shares the ass-kicking on him. In the promo it was like she was dancing, not fighting, of course the people falling down prove that is was fighting. Zoe has a lovely new hairstyle, also.

I giggled when Mal talks about River and her "MOOD SWINGS". And the villain says "It's much worse than that" and Mal replies, "It usually is."

Oh and the bit at the end where the villain talks about being civilized and unarmed and he sits down. Then all you hear Mal say is "Good" and he shoots his gun. LOL

"Oh My God It's Grotesque! Oh And There's Something In A Jar."

I loved every second of that trailer, except for the part where Jayne clothes-lines Wash and drops him on his head, I thought that was a little farfetched, unless of course they were in an anti gravity bar, through which I would totally back that scene up.

Correction, upon further investigation I find that Jayne does not in fact clothesline wash, he clotheslines someone who looks like Wash, but now as Im typing this im starting to think that might be a stunt double...ok im just going to leave now...

I don't think that was Wash. I looked at the trailer and sort of did a slow-mo thing and it didn't look like him. I could be wrong...no I'm right. lol. j/k.

Oh by the by StillShiny, I visited your website and I love the shirts! I liked No Power and Shiny shirts. They all looked so...shiny! But alas, I have no money. *mutters* Gotta get a job.

As someone who's seen a screening of the film, I can tell you that it's not Wash. And the move is totally kick-ass in the film. It got a laugh AND a cheer from the audience.
