BADGERSHAT

Hey folks--

I know there've been a few shindigs attended by some of the regulars here at fff.net (I, sadly, have not had the opportunity as of yet).

My wondering is this:

Have any of my fellow triple Fs dated, hooked up, gotten married, bought a cat together, etc?

If so, we want to know who you are!

If not, maybe we should have a dating service through fff.net?

Just a thought...

Since you're looking for a long neck and a big head, wouldn't you say you're looking for a "bobbly" personality...

Kaylee: "What's so damn important about being proper? It don't mean nothing out here in the black."
Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."

You COULD slap me, or you could just laugh at the witty repartee that flows unabated from my keyboard.

Either way, I'll recover...

You remind me very much of a guy who does RenFest with me and Grey. I suspect you two would get along famously.

And we'd have to kill you both.

I don't know if they are members of the board but I know of at least two couples who met through their mutual love of Firefly. One couple is getting married THIS month! :-)

Am I the only one who had to read this more than once before understanding what BadgersHat was asking? In my lexicon a triple F is something completely different, although it strangely worked in the context, just shocked me.

Seeing as I just read yet another "I enjoyed meeting you, but I just don't think we clicked" e-mail, I suppose I would be remiss not to post here.

I'm a 30 year old male living in Atlanta in seek of a woman who enjoys shindigs and, well, is inclined to be reading this post. Um... I'm actually semi-serious. Drop me a line if you're the least bit curious to know anything more.

Hmmmm, how to explain. I'll put this in spoiler tags so no one can accuse me of lewd content in front of impressionable youngsters... although, it isn't really all that lewd in the grand scheme of things...

And I'm pretty sure this dates back to at least the 80's, but a triple-F is a "Fantastic Fk Friend". IE, someone with whom you engage in casual sex and little else.

Okay, admit...how many of you went to eSerenity.com thinking it was a real firefly site.

I...see...I was the only one then...

I have to admit though, I laughed my ass off at my own stupidity...I'm sure some of you will too...At mine, I mean...

You're not stupid. My post was misleading. I take responsibility for the confusion.

Match ups, huh?

Well, let's see. I kissed half the male and female members of the board while they were under the mistletoe. And I kissed a few for Valentines day too. The there's all that sexual energy in the clubhouse threads. It got pretty hot and heavy with SimonWho when he was licking pie off my face. Static and I almost made the rating change to NC17. Then there's Cozen...the things he wants to do to the women aboard the SereniTree! Whoa. He's got magic hands. Let's not forget all the men chasing Malicious. In fact, isn't TheRealMe going on a Home Depot date with Mal soon? Looks like they're all cyber love not real life love. too bad.

Hmmmm…weird girl companioning.

Perhaps I should enroll in the academy.

So might as well put my two cents in:

I'm a 21 yr. old, large semi-muscular man (ha). But no really I'm 6'1, 185 lbs., in the Air Force, and banished to central Alabama. There that should be enticing enough.

Sheesh...yeah, just about anytime you see me associated with a thread, you should probably look for it to fade away pretty soon. Nope. I've gotten some women I've breifly dated ( I only really became a Firefly fan last October) into Firefly but never really met through here or because of Firefly.

Although on the plus side from my limited exposure to the Friefly fans at conventions, the show tends to attract a larger female fanbase than say Stargate or the Trek franchise. Which is always good for us single guys... that said, I've never really found conventions to be terribly great places for finding dates. Meeting people, making friends.... absolutely but the dating thing? Not so much.
