Don't worry about mistakes. This is a very friendly crowd here.

You can ask questions, or read posts, or post things yourself.

There are a lot of threads that you can get to in the archive that deal with almost every subject in the show. Don't hesitate to start posting to something old. A new insight could be what we need to get it started again.

The one that got me hooked (and where I made MY first post) is in the Firefly Episodes Forum, "10 Things I learned from Firefly" or something like that. Very funny.

I read your profile, and it sounds as though you should fit in quite easily here. Everyone is generally forgiving of most everything, so, no worries: Just be yourself (we all do).

Are you actually studying ancient languages, or is it just a hobby? I've got a lot of questions about Inara and the religious basis of the Guild (see http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=2&t=4558). While the recently published book of essays, "Finding Serenity", included an entry by a licensed sex therapist that echoed my sentiments (originally written over a year ago, score!), I'm still intrigued by the possibilities implied by her character. Do your studies range into ancient Sumerian/Babylonian/Akkadian languages and the cultures that spawned them?

And FFFn is not all about serious topics either. We have some really silly and playful threads here on the General Discussions (GenDis) board, too. Try the Treehouse (SereniTREE), RUCKUS or volleyball threads, if you ever just feel like a romp.

In any case, welcome to the board and have fun.

Wow, so many friendly people. I'm scared now. I'm just kidding.

To answer Zoid's questions. I'm not studing any ancient languages. I'm deciding wheter or not I should study Theater or History and become an Archeaologist. Descisions, descisions. In fact the only languages I know are english and spanish(I'm mexican!) and Mandrin is the language I'm trying to learn, thanks to firefly, so I can cuss out my brother when he pisses me off. Thought it would be fun. Hehehehehehe.

Ok, went to the dark side there for a moment. Sorry. lol.
