hello my fellow browncoats...you know whats cool is when you give a dvd or cd of something you love to one of your friends and you get a bit nervous because you are worried they may not like it BUT when they do listen/watch it they LOVE it.well this has happened yet again,my buddy ben borrowed the dvds a few days ago and when i stopped by yesterday he had just watched 3 eps in a row and the first words were---this show is sooooo cool.followed with---why was this show cancelled.he loves all the characters,laughed at all the right parts,ect ect.oh and any fox execs who dont have enough egg on there face read this-- he was hooked the moment "serenity-the pilot" started.he doesnt like spoilers so he didnt want to know anything about the movie but he, along with my fellow meet-up group and other friends will be there opening weekend.shiny!

In two months, I'm leaving for New Mexico to spend two weeks at my Aunt and Uncle's house. They've never heard of Firefly or the BDM.

I how ever have a nefarious plan :evil: to convert them into Browncoats.

Ok, it's not that nafarious, I'm just biringing my DVD set for them to watch.

this is insane i should recieve a medal or somethin'---anyhoo i have converted yet ANOTHER!!! 2 infact!!! obviously we know that this thread was started because of converting my friend ben well now i have converted my friend matt and laurissa!!! for those who were in attendence at the march nyc meetup group they came with me(because of my comedy show)they were very quite but enjoyed themselves.well 2 weekends ago i showed matt the gag reel of all things and he is a fan of star wars and old westerns so i thought he might like it(he isnt a fan of buffy at all but liked david boreanaz,yet didnt watch angel..tough sell)anyway they watched the first disc last night and yet again i was told how great the show is and"why was it cancelled?" he told me this morning he cant wait to get home tonight to watch more eps. also a quick update on my friend ben(who should be posting here soon)he has told our friend chris and he seems interested and he will be showing his brother and a friend named shane the dvds as well. all hail firefly for its firey goodness!!oh and ofcourse they all are psyched to see the movie!!!! shinY!!!!!

holy crap you cant make this stuff up!!(actually you could but thats no fun)so i tell my friend jana about the "conversions" and she being a whedon fan already just ordered herself a copy of the dvd set!!!!!!! that is now over 10 people(so far)and 4 have been within a week! sorry if im posting too much i just think this is sooo cool fro the movie.the more browncoats the better!
