Don't be jealous TRM, I'm just sharing the room number with Malicious, not the actual room itself.

Look, come up to my room and see. There's nothing here to hide.

*opens door to his room*

*shuts door quickly*

Yes, yes, nothing there. Take my word for it. Come on, back to the beach, yes. No, we don't need to look inside my room. The beach, quickly now. I've already built two whomping big towers and if I don't get back before Rat's besieging whims return, they'll be flat before you know it.

STATIC

**Static kisses his beloved tenderly and leads her further out into the waves and they spend a good while enjoying the perfect temperature of the water and the gentleness of the waves, and each other's company where it won't offend anyone. They swim and frolic until they realize they're getting tired, and decide to body-surf their way back in.

Static and TWG run to the spot on the beach where they'd left their things and dry off quickly. Static thinks aloud...*

"You know. . .I need to scare up some firewood or somesuch."

**This being a pleasure planet of Cozen's design, a large wave breaks upon the shore, running up near Static's feet. When the water recedes, Static notices that a large ammount of driftwood has been deposited.

Dry driftwood. Wow.

Static quickly builds a fire and he and TWG are snuggled by it, sharing a blanket and snuggling (once again, picture Zoe & Wash from 'Our Mrs Reynolds'), inviting their friends to come join when they have tired of the other amusements. There's a tub full of ice, and bottles every brand of root beer imaginable. . .a keg of Guiness, for those so inclined. . .a grill nearby, with coals already hot. . .

Static kisses his beloved once more.**

*a water-logged jake7 stumbles, weary, back to the bio'lake to sit by the fire and relax.*

Man! I'm beat! This fire sure is nice to warm up with! After so much time in the warm water of the slides, it seems cold...

*teeth chattering, she finds that a thermos of hot cocoa was thoughfully provided by the staff next to the tub of ice. She lays back on the backjack chair and sips her cocoa, gazing at the sunsets.*

Man, this is the life!

Anyone up for a game of pool later? If not pool, I noticed there was a game room with all kinds of games.

TRM, it looks like they have a version of your Whack-a-Fox-Exec game!

Maybe some Skee-Ball?

Okay, essential elements for a beach party:

Music - check
Fire - check
Hippy chick - check
Beach ball - check
Food - ...

Ah, okay, beach food. Sandwichs, obviously. Did you know that they were named after the Earl of Sandwich? You did? Really? Huh.

What other foods would be good for looking incredibly tasty on the outside but concealing a raft of sand within?

Hey where'd everyone go?

*Walking slightly wobbly back from the amusement park*

Oh hey all! Beach party? That's the best idea I've heard since we've gotten here.
Maybe this will help me get rid of some not so pleasureable memories of past beach expeditions (Ocean City, MD late winter of '02 = crazy drunkeness and almost frostbite). Think I'd better stick to the rootbeer.

As for food, how about a clambake? Or maybe just a good old fashion beach BBQ and of course handmade ice cream!

*BJS lands upon a palm tree, located at a safe remove from the roaring bonfire. The music subsides to a level allowing conversation.*

*Or*

*BJS tunes up, summoning a not-quite-there B flat*

Ahem.

(Writer: Leigh Harline; Lyrics: Ned Washington)

When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are
Anything your heart desires will come to you

If your heart is in your dreams, no request is too extreme
When you wish upon a star as dreamers do

(Fate is kind, she brings to those who love
The sweet fulfillment of their secret longing)

Like a bolt out of the blue, fate steps in and sees you thru
When you wish upon a star, your dreams come true!

*Thank you, and g'night*

This night keeps getting better and better.

THEREALME

* A spot of light appears in mid-air near the campfire, and slowly expands to become a ring of fire surrounding a dark void. From this hole in reality steps The Real Me. With some effort, he pulls a grill after him, already sizzling with burgers, brats, hot dogs, and even a veggie burger or two for folks as like those things. *

Greetings, everyone! I have dinner ready!

* Following him out of the void comes the Ebo Golem, carrying what appears to be the top half of a robot made of metal and plastic. *

I’ve made some more progress in repairing Sparky!

* The top half of the robot Sparky is holding a plate with buns, onions, relish, and various other condiments. *

Oh, Ebo! You have your guitar. That’s not going to do you much good out here. Let me help.

* The Real Me takes the cord of Ebonezer’s electric guitar and plugs it into the side of Sparky’s head. As Ebo strums chords, notes come blaring out of Sparky’s mouth. *

Go ahead, Ebo, rock your ass off!

Mal-licious? I’m here! By the fire? Remember? The fire?

* The Real Me spots the stranger. *

Hey, a new face! Welcome! Here, have a burger!

SimonsCandyApple! Allow me to introduce myself.

* The Real Me bows politely. *

I am The Real Me.

* He straightens up and gestures about him. *

And these are the crew and passengers of the starship SereniTREE.

But you want to know about the clubhouse/treehouse/SereniTree threads?

Let me see… how did it all begin?

On May 27, 2004… It was a Thursday…

Ebonezer posted the “I am NOT a guy club!” thread (she isn’t, by the way). This established the long-running line of clubhouse threads. As the threads have become full, which happens around 100 to 200 posts or so, we move on to a newer thread.

Like a plague of locusts.

During this time, we have created fabulous inventions, acquired superpowers of various kinds, declared war on other threads, moved into a treehouse, fought an Eldritch Horror from the Purple Dimension for its ice cream, turned our treehouse into a floating air-ship, had a gala pageant where the men had to wear frilly or slinky dresses, turned our air-ship into a starship, fought kidnappers and mutineers, and now we’re here, on the planet Rukus, taking a break while we search out the whereabouts of Cozen, once one of our number, but who inexplicably transformed into a star cluster after Rat and I tried to put a stop to his kidnapping addiction.

* The Real Me gasps for air. *

By my count, this is the 16th clubhouse thread in direct succession. There have been about as many peripheral threads, too.

I am actually working on a directory/summary of the entire mess, but that’s taking a while to collect, seeing as I’ve been feeling lazy lately.

Sorry, ThatWeirdGirl, I know that’s not as good as before, but we’ve had a lot of threads since my last summary.

* A young woman steps through the dimensional portal. She is wearing an apron. She goes to the grill and starts flipping burgers, brats, etc, etc. *

Oh, yes. That would be Bride7. She is a fabulous cook. Hey, everyone, line up for food!

MONTANAGIRL

I just realized that I've been rude and haven't said WELCOME!!! to SimonsCandyApple.

*Puts down her burger, runs over and gives SCA a hug.*

I must congratulate your bravery in jumping right into the treehouse on your first day. It took me about a month to work up the nerve to venture into this nuthouse!

By the way, get used to being SCA or Apple, because we're all too lazy to use full names 'round here. I'm actually montanagirl, but I don't think anyone's ever called me that. Except maybe when TRM first added me to the passenger manifest over on the floating treehouse.

Packer fans welcome.

THEREALME

Indeed, MontanaGirl, I recall that time of "wiles practicing". I was then, and am now, quite appreciative. However, I must point out that this was voluntary on your part (wasn't it?), and so cannot count as an initiation.

And no, Rat, I will not make a wish due to our double posts. The last time I made a wish, I got a FemaleReaver breathing down my neck!
