We continue our adventures from "the Sereni-Tree clubhouse" thread:

The Battle for the Pool Table is over… or IS it?

Rat and The Real Me have (against her will) rescued MontanaGirl from the (pleasant)captivity of Cozen by the clever use of Spam.

And the Sereni-TREE needs some work. No only must its extra-dimensional folding be repaired to prevent everyone sleeping in the same room, but The Real Me and Rat have a LOT of mopping-up of Spam that needs doing.

But at least Ebonezer has her nest back!

Also, perhaps ThatWeirdGirl will start teaching us the fine art of Spam-carving.

*whimper* no, SPAM, no, no, no, no...

*twg fallen in the floor, can no longer form coherent thoughts. the SPAM destruction around her is too much and she has suffered a break of some sort. she sits with her legs folded beneath her, arms wrapped tightly around her waist, hair wild and covering her face, rocking back and forth.*

...no, no, no, no, *whimper* SPAM, no, no, no...

*she shuts her eyes tight hoping to rid herself of the sickening image of hurled SPAM. it's everywhere. a single tear rolls down her cheek*

no, *whimper* no...

Ya 'all we're fighting over the pool table? Honey, the pool table is mine. Thats all there is to it. Were we to have a constutution, it would be writin in that the pool table belongs to me and only me.

*Ebo picks her way throught the fallout from the Battle and squats down, looking at the space under the table.*

Aww, now look what you did. You messed up my nest. I had the pillows stacked and fluffed just right so that it made a glove around my body. Lying there was fantastic.

Eww, is that spam? It is. There's spam in my nest. Thats really gross.

Does the treehouse have a washing maciene?

Dammit, I've been rescued! I mean, umm, THANK YOU TRM and Rat for caring about my well-being so much that you concoted Spam weaponry to come to my aid. It was very considerate of you. Bonus points for Princess Bride references!

And cozen, I must congratulate you on an excellent kidnapping. You should give lessons in the art.

*mg notices twg in a catatonic state whimpering about Spam. She goes over and gently draws her to her feet.*

Come on, tippy, let's go sit behind the bar where you can't see what those guys did to your wonderful Spam.

*Arranges a couple of spare pillows for twg to sit on, then drapes a blanket around her shoulders.*

Look, I found an untouched can of Spam. Here!

*Not knowing what else to do, mg leaves twg to her own devices, hoping that the full, unmutilated can of Spam can work its healing magic.*

So, can we get Ebo Golem to clean up this mess?

*twg continues laughing to herself as she cradles the SPAM.*

Darnation! My lecherous plan to overcome the last of Montanagirl's defences via the infallible application of 6th c. shiatsu, perfectly timed for V Day, natch, has been SPAMmed!

*groggily assesses self. Needn't be clothed, for all the SPAM on him.*

*realizes that in lieu of v. cards, he must needs appropriate Hakenemoticons.*

To Ebo (since yer nearest), thanks for use of your nest for R-rated shenanigans.

*takes his chances, plunks heavily SPAMmed self onto Mal-l's lap.* Mal-l, cuz yer the bestest. Um, sure hope that's not yer fave outfit....

*meanders by twg, clearly in a state of schizoid trauma induced by twg/tippy ident crisis. scrapes off most SPAM from self, gathers blobby pile into a sorta heart-shaped SPAM artifact and leaves this near twg.*
TWG, cuz yer our art and soul.

TheRealMe, cuz yer always planning something, make of this what you will. Bravo!

*tosses a over the bar, lands splat on Rat.* Don't get no intentions, lad, I hate rootbeer.

To Mai, Any beauty like you so often gets naked in public is forever in my good graces!

Hey, Montangirl! (need I explain?)

*cozen spies Simonwho frantically searching for an extra-dimensional portal, a rope, ladder, ANYTHING useful as a means of escape, and who can blame him?*

Captain Ebonezer, perhaps you are unaware of some recent events!

* The Real Me brings himself to attention and gives Ebo a snappy salute. *

Allow me to give you my report:

Captain, during your absence, Cozen kidnapped MontanaGirl, moved her into your nest under the pool table, set up his Torture Chamber of Pleasure there, and fortified it against us. Rat and I, in a bold and daring mission worthy of a summer action blockbuster movie, liberated the pool table from Cozen’s control. And yes, we used Spam to do it. It was the only weapon at our disposal, considering the high level of reality that we have had to deal with, lately. One consolation of these events, I suppose, is that Cozen installed his torture device / recliner in your nest. By all accounts, it is quite comfortable.

Now, if you will excuse me, Captain, there are a number of tasks that require my attention.

* After securing the Spam-slinging guns in a locker, The Real Me surveys the battlefield that was the common room. *

What a mess! This place needs some cleaning.

* The Real Me picks up one of the fallen butterfly thrusters that had been part of Mai’s gown. He tinkers with it a bit, and begins training it to find blobs of Spam on the floor. Soon, all the ex-gown butterflies are seeking out blobs of Spam in the common room, levitating them away, and dropping them out nearby windows. *

Let’s see, what next?

* The Real Me wanders over to the Ebo Golem, which is currently still making up a part of Cozen’s pool table fortifications. He taps its forehead. *

Ebo Golem? Are you awake?

* Very, very slowly, the eyes of the Ebo Golem open. With a grinding sound, the Ebo Golem slowly turns its head. *

Ah, good! The over-abundance of reality that has been plaguing the Sereni-Tree seems to be gradually receding. Ebo Golem, when you can get around a little better, please clean the place up a bit.

* The Real Me indicates a mop and a bucket of water. *

Now what?

* Behind the bar, The Real Me is surprised to find ThatWeirdGirl, clutching a can of Spam and giggling to herself. He shakes his head gravely as he observes ThatWeirdGirl’s Spam-induced delirium. *

This is my fault. She warned us. All my fault. I have to do something.

* The Real Me gently picks up ThatWeirdGirl and carries her away from the Spamic carnage in the common room. He takes her down a few flights of stairs to the cargo bay. He sets her down on the floor in a sitting position with her back against one wall. He makes sure that the one cargo crate that he and Rat raided for ammunition is not directly visible. The Real Me gestures at the many crates. *

ThatWeirdGirl! Look! Spam! Plenty of it! Tons of it! It’s The Grey Jedi’s stash!

* The Real Me uses a hanky to carefully wipe the tears of pain and laughter from ThatWeirdGirl’s face, then he takes a comb and calmly brushes the tangles out of her long hair. He snaps his fingers once… twice... *

ThatWeirdGirl?

TWG?

Tippy?

Hello?

* She laughs again, but does not otherwise respond. *

Hmmmm…

* Directly in front of ThatWeirdGirl, The Real Me sets a bottle of Pepsimilk, the last unopened can of Spam from his holocaust cloak, and a number of cutting, carving, and sculpting tools. *

ThatWeirdGirl, when you are ready, perhaps you can show me some Spam-sculpting.

* The Real Me sits down with a lemonade and begins a patient vigil. *

When you are ready. Take your time.

This isn't good now, is it? Cozen, I think you're going to have to give trippy some help to get her over the side-effects of the rescue from the kidnapping (why do I suddenly visualise Rat and TRM as members of Team America?)

*strokes skippy's hair affectionately*

There, there. Don't worry. We'll go to Hawaii and pick up some more. (Hawaii has the largest consumption of Spam per head, fact fans).

Well it's February 14, which means it's only six days until Daytona, but I digress. I've never been real big on Valentine's Day, probably because I've always been alone on Valentine's Day, but once again I digress. It seems to me that the burden of this day falls mainly on the menfolk, which is unfair. To help restore some balance and since the treehouse is populated with such wonderful guys, I'm making this your day.

As such, gather round and you all shall receive foot massages and neck rubs (unless you're too ticklish ), and I shall fetch you your beverage and appetizer of choice. Tonight, I am at your beck and call.

Love ya all!

Uh... Project! Yes! Right!

Uh... How about fashioning the Spam inside the can into a likeness of a can of Spam?

No. That's pretty stupid really.

* More awake, The Real Me thinks again. *

Uh, I’m afraid that you have confused MontanaGirl (who was kidnapped) with ThatWeirdGirl (who was not, but who evidently has serious issues regarding the mistreatment of Spam). Also, it seems to me that the kidnapping of one of our own and the theft of someone’s home requires action a bit more decisive than passive observation.

And no, before you wonder, I did NOT vote for him.

Sorry, there was something inside the gold wrapping? Oh well, can't be helped. Unless someone offers to minaturise themselves and go into my body to retrieve the item. No-one?

Actually, gold is very edible. There was a mildly pleasant drink that was something of a hit in Glasgow which had little gold flakes drifting around inside it. I rather liked the idea that you could swallow in an average evening more gold than you get on the average QVC gold-plated watch.

Oh, QVC! My very occasional evil vice, to put on the shopping channel and mock the products, the presenters and anyone who buys the tat that is for sale. Now if they came up with Channel Harrods, then I'd be more interested. Still wouldn't buy anything but I'd be more interested.

MANIACNUMBERONE

Hey weird girl, how's the treehouse slanting these days? I couldn't help writing that bit on the gold, I read about that story and it was so trippy, it's been on my mind. I've got the making for a series of multi-level super-slides that I will need some help installing.

so why Wario, he's kinda, well, not too cute. I got rid of my GBA, but I wouldn't mind getting PSP

I wonder if we still have our Calvin Rules Twister?

*sees Maniac with tool belt*
Oooh! Slides! I love slides!
*runs to, um, slide down slide, rereads Maniac's post and realizes slides are not installed as she hurtles off the treehouse*

*leans over the edge and catches slippy*

Now, no more playing game on another person's metaphor, you'll get into real trouble one of these days.

What is Calvin Rules Twister? Does it involve alcohol because the weekend draws near and I have a yearning for some boozing. But right now, I have to retire to my bedroom for my essential beauty sleep.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh yeah! Calvinball Twister! I think I got that down here somewhere...

*Ebo rummages around under the pool table untill she finds what she's looking for.*

Ta-da!

*Ebo opens the box, and unfolds the mat.*

Alright, everybody who's playing got their masks on?

Crashing? What have I ever crashed on. I don't remember any-

*Ebo suddenly remembers the Big Screen HD TV incident.*

Oh. That. Well i wouldn't have crashed if SOMEONE hadn't turned the physics back on again.

Yeah, in the first place they were. But I don't think they ever got turned off, they just got scared and ran away or something.

Pepsi!!! (without the milk) (with caffeine and sugar) (in a can)

Hmm, Mike or Joel? I've never quite been able to decide, and I've been thinking about it for a long time now (seriously). I love Mike, but then I always get so happy when I see Joel again. And Joel is the original, but Mike made really good Wisconsin jokes/references in "Giant Spider Invasion". I guess I'll take Servo.

Oh, hey, almond rocha!

MONTANAGIRL

Since this discussion has sort of started over on Mal's sheep thread, I thought it'd be interesting to bring over here. We were talking about our Chinese zodiac signs. Rat and TRM are rat, thatweirdgirl is dragon, and I'm ox. When I looked up compatibilities, I'm compatible with all of them. So I started wondering what everyone else in the treehouse is, and if we're compatible in the zodialogical (is that a word?) sense. I thought it might be interesting. And if our horoscopes say we're not compatible, then we'll just ignore it. Or start a pie fight. I'm good with either .
