GRRARRG

Oh, I just remembered this one:

Last year, on the last day of school, I was saying goodbye to some of my graduating seniors. One of them, who was going into the military, received this advice:

"If somebody tries to kill you, you try and kill 'em right back."

I know that sounds like a horribly insensitive thing to say to a young man who would soon find himself in a real situation, but I knew that he would not be offended and that he would find it humorous, even though he didn't know the reference.

I haven't used the "your mouth is talking" line on a student yet, but I'm sure I will someday. When I discuss a math problem or a school rule that has an unexpected result, I always follow it with "Does that seem right to you?"

I think I've said "some people juggle geese" when someone expressed their confusion about something that was inexplicable, but that may have just been in my head.

I just have to share this with everyone:

I just finished watching my video of this past Wednesday's ep of "Lost." When the Austrailian woman Hurley went to see says, "...he had the most boring job: he had to listen to Static, night after night....." I just doubled over laughing. Poor TGJ!!

I had one today. Walked into "The Pacifier" just in time to hear Vin Diseil say "Do you know what the chain of command is?". I about died laughing.
