First, some explanation:

A while ago (a year or more), Hasbro released the Star Wars Unleashed line of collectible statues. They're these exquisitely detailed/sculpted figures of Star Wars characters frozen in dynamic action shots (you may've seen 'em in comic stores). The early marketing scheme for these encapsulated each one with a corresponding trait, reflecting both the character and the pose; Yoda was "Power," Vader was "Wrath," Boba Fett was "Intensity," Luke was "Courage," etc. That marketing scheme has since been abandoned, sadly.

I was recently pondering what other franchises could handle the same treatment. I was originally thinking of InuYasha (whose characters would look so cool if given the full billowy-cloth treatment), but obviously, Firefly soon came up.

Here's what I got so far:

Mal: Integrity
Zoe: Strength
Jayne: Skill
Wash: Cheer
Kaylee: Compassion
Inara: Elegance
Simon: Loyalty
River: Perception
Book: Wisdom

Anyone else got any ideas?

I'm not sure about that...but Firefly action figures would be shiny!

Those are great ideas.
I just think I'd switch Zoe and Jayne -- Zoe's Death By Pinkie is a skill thing, and the only skill Jayne relies on is his aim.
I never saw those SW figures, they sound interesting.

Actually the strength of Zoe is more the quiet-yet-unflinching resolve/wherewithal/stubbornness to stand by her captain/sergeant no matter what, even when he's got a little problem with his brain being missing, walking into Niska's skyplex to rescue Wash, not flinching when Mal's ear gets cut off and handed to her, then going back in to blast the captain out. Even if she was bandaged up with four broken limbs, I sure as hell wouldn't want to cross her.

(Much like the strength that I credit Kagome with [to knowingly and willingly give your heart to someone who you know is going to break it] in the InuYasha version.)

I will admit that I really had to wrack my mind to come up with something for Jayne (that didn't duplicate anyone else). Certainly not loyalty, culture, intelligence, manners, gentility, generosity, or good taste. I thought "skill" would fit both because of his sharpshooting and his tracking skills (which, lest we forget, is most of why Mal hired him in the first place).
