Hi all! Yes, I have recovered from our little shindig in New York City on Saturday night! It was delightful to meet a fellow Browncoat from Austrailia and see our charming, intelligent, witty, NYC meet up group again.

We had such a good time, after "Dele" left to go see "The Producers" we kept hanging out! Alas, one too many martini's for me!

Okay, here is a question for a lot of us: Why are Browncoats so trusting? My dear friend Brad actually guarenteed a ticket to "The Producers" for someone he never met. Dele was explaining to her parents that she was meeting with a group of Browncoats in NYC for dinner and that one of them had a friend in "The Producers" and was going to arrange tickets and back stage passes to the show. Okay, Dele, I'm telling stories, but weren't your parents a little concerned that, I was not a woman but a man and that person you were meeting with was a stalker?

Okay, MOH!!! What was your mother thinking when she opened her beautiful horse farm to a bunch of people her daughter met on the internet???

Whedonesque, what were you thinking when you loaned me your entire collection of Buffy and Angel CDs??? You only met me once?

We are a very trusting lot. Why?

Hello, Hello! Sorry - I've been dealing with jet lag and unpacking (a very scary experience and sorry excuse, but....)

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to all the NYC browncoats who turned up last weekend. It was so great to meet you all, and all I can say is that it's a shame I didn't get to spend more time with you all.

As for the trust issue, DietCoke - maybe we're just mad?????

But to be honest, this site is such a friendly place to come and hang out every now and then - Browncoats are just generally very cool people, obviously!

Now, given that my technological skills aren't that great, I am trying to post a link to the photo I took of us all. If it doesn't show up, please let me know!

But once again, thanks SOOOO much for an awesome evening. I can't recommend The Producers highly enough if anyone's in NYC and wanting to see a broadway show. It was excellent.

Loved the city, you guys are great ... maybe I'll just have to come for another visit sometime - say around April?

PS - As for stories of what happened, I too, want to find out more, having been otherwise engaged with a show - apparently the martinis were flowing freely!
