Just got done watching an older episode of That '70s Show, and I was struck by something. Does anyone else think that Topher Grace could be a younger Nathan Fillion?

It's not so much that they look alike (though there is a sort of similarity), but more that they sound alike. In fact, if you watch Topher Grace and close your eyes, I think you'd be surprised by just how much they sound alike. They even have similar inflections. It's eerie, people.

Or maybe it's just me.

Yep, it's probably just me.

No, it's not just you...
I see, or hear rather, what you mean about their voices. The inflections are similar.
...'tis eerie.

...Or it could be similar nasal passage and soft pallet structure. :}

I always thought he had a little bit of a resemblance to Jason Bateman or Jerry O'Connell:

YT

the movie is not the Series. Only the facts have been changed, to irritate the innocent; the names of the actors and characters remain the same

This could be bad news for ol' Nate. Here I was thinkin' he'd just about entered the second stage of an acting career, when in fact he may already be @the fourth.

AURGH!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!!! Any comparison to Topher Grace is STRICTLY VERBOTEN. As is any comparison to Jerry O'Connell. I rather liked Jason Bateman in "Arrested Development," so I shall let that pass.

However, I've never seen "Two Guys, a Girl, and a Vacuum," or whatever that show was, so perhaps the comparison to Topher is apt.... Still. I prefer to think of Fillion being in a different league.

Based entirely on looks I would have to say Jake whats-his-name from Drake and Josh. Or is it Josh whats-his-name. Anyway, he looks most like Mal probably would have in school.
