AB as Riley?

I really HATED Riley in BtVS and kept waiting for something sufficiently awful to happen to him. Sometimes I think that the character was just designed as a punching bag for the fans, but sometimes I think it has a lot to do with the charisma vacuum that is Marc Blucas.

Which in turn made me wonder what Adam Baldwin could have done with the role--Buffy doesn't have a problem with dating older men, after all.

I agree about Marc Blucas being a bit vacuous... but I'm not sure Adam would have made a good Riley.

Riley was, or so Buffy thought, just a normal average guy. I'm not sure with his build and dramatic looks that Adam could have filled that role.

Would have been good to see Adam as a completely new love interest though. mmmm. Lucky Buffy!
