Said it was a repeat so I didn't bother watching. Suppose to be new next week, so I will catch it then.

OK. I guess that was Episode 3 from last year, which I had not seen.

I did think the scriptwriting was pretty rough, so that makes sense that they had not yet polished their writing like the latter part of last season.

I may get lucky and catch up with some earlier episodes over the Christmas break. Ads call next week the mid-season finale.

Mid-season finale? Last night was only the 3rd episode of this season.

I can't wait for this story arc of the white side of the family to end. They are annoying a-holes.

I know but that is what all the ads said.

I agree completely. Jess's father is working really hard to ingratiate himself with Tally. Which is a bad idea as he will walk out of her life like he did Jess's.

Have you heard of the film News of the World? It involves interaction with the Kiowa band in Texas in the 1860's.

I will JSF.

I have and I am hoping to see it whenever and however I can. Looks very good and I do like Tom Hanks.

Couldn't hardly wait for father-in-law to leave.

Is brother-in-law on assignment?

edited after: I meant the father, played by Terry O'Quinn. I did not mean the father-in-law, I think that is a good role to have in the show. Sorry for the mix-up.

They are temporarily written out of the show because the actors are Cree from Alberta. Came home when things shut down and are still here until things open up more down there.

Terry Quinn is Cree?

For the brother-in-law, I meant the story version. It seemed they mentioned he was on some hiatus, but I didn't catch the details.

I enjoyed last night's episode. But didn't hear them even mention the brother-in-law.

How does that work? Did Cree Nation recall all of their members, force them to return to tribal lands? And then refused to let them leave?
Not sure I understand how that works. Or is it a voluntary thing?

No, no not Terry Quinn. Sorry JSF, I guess I didn't get who you were talking about.

No, I think the brother-in-law character was mentioned as being on special assignment.

This is just my guess that when productions shut down they came home. Canada was calling citizens out of the country home at the time, they may have got caught up in that. So, they could be out of the show until they get their shots or the border reopens.

I am sorry, I was confused.
I mixed up the Cree with Canada. It was Canada not allowing return?

I had also thought that the show was filmed in Canada, so didn't realize the Canada Border problem.

No worries JSF. As I said it is just my guess that it is the border causing the problem.

I looked the show up and it is filmed in New York state, so with the border closed. I hope they can go back to work soon.

I don't know if it was a "new" episode, or if this is a new slot for the show. But I had not seen the episode before. It had to do with stalkers, and stalking. I didn't detect any angle about First Peoples, or cultural topics, so maybe not a must-see for you.

So maybe keep an eye out. I've seen more ads for that Declassified show, always saying it is in the time slot on Tuesday that Most Wanted used to be in.

Thanks for the head's up. I will keep an eye out on ads and check my local listings because that will be different than what you get in the US.

Last night both had good episodes.

The episode for me last night was one I saw a few weeks ago. A veteran on a rampage. He started with a firing range.

That particular episode had a scene which stuck with me since the first time I say that episode, during the Lockdown when I wasn't posting here.

The moron running the Firing Range, and having No Clue what a Minute Of Angle was, or arguing with a sniper about how to shoot, that guy should have been the first one down. That he survived was a complete injustice.

I know practically nothing about guns modern or 6 shooters. So a lot of the range of ammo was lost on me.

I did think he was going to take out the ammo guy first too.

I think I missed this post of yours.

Minute of Angle (MOA):

For shooting, as with bow or darts or basketball, the goal is to be consistent, to be able to put the round in the same spot time after time after time. For a sniper, trying to shoot at a range of hundreds or thousands of yards, this is even more critical.

If a shooter's grouping (where the rounds hit) is within a 1" circle at 100 yards, then that is his MOA. The same MOA would have him shooting within a 2" circle at 200 yards. And 3" circle at 300 yards.

The better shooter will have a smaller MOA, so at far distance ranges will still be within the circle diameter of hitting the target (usually a human, but diameter of effective circle will change whether the aim is at the head, or chest).

Poor ammo will not be able to consistently, repetitively, predictably hit the same point - it's MOA becomes too large. The good ammo will have better consistency.
This was what the ammo guy was stupid about, he didn't care if he gave the shooter good ammo or bad.
The fact that he didn't know what MOA was, while working at a firing range, and then arguing with somebody who did have a clue, is why he should have been the first to perish.

Hope that explains it well enough.

Geez, last night was perhaps the worst episode of the series. Just bad piled on top of worse and worse.

The 2nd in command was a black woman, I think the only black woman on the show, but now she has been revealed as a black lesbian, and married to a SJW.
And the topic of the show is completely deluded SJW BLM Antifag crap.

I don't recall if the Lesbian was revealed as such before.

I wondered if this whole horrible episode was written with this intent, or if they went back to an existing script and injected all of this BLM Antifag crap into an episode of a Law Enforcement Officer show.

Seems they are trying to end the series as soon as possible.

eta: I guess the lesbian wife was already on 2 episodes, but I guess I didn't catch those scenes.
So the righteous hetero black woman is becoming extinct on TV?

Yeah, the episode seemed to return to reality compared to last week - but the uber annoying dad needs the boot.
The story continuity may be off kilter, maybe they moved around the sequence of episodes broadcast. Hope they start to stay with reality.

Last night was a good episode, except for the dad. The whole episode focus on Environmental concerns was quite weak, tho.

The episode was good.

I can understand that the writers want to bring Jess and his family together, I'm just not sure if it is for Jess' sake or Tally's.

It was weak in some areas. Lots of companies have been taken to court in the US over illegal dumping and accusations of said substances giving people cancer. The writing in that regard was weak.

Another good episode.

Everybody except Jess is deciding what will happen in his house.

I am wondering, with much of the cast estranged because of Canada travel restrictions during Libtard Lockdowns, particularly First Peoples actors, will this segment of working actors be able to regain their prior place in TV and Film production? How long will it take?

It was good.

That is the problem right now for Jess and I hope his in-laws have been informed about the new girlfriend living in their house.

The 2 Cree actors are regular cast, so I am sure they will be back no worries.

Season finale was good. The gun Tally was trying to give to her dad's girlfriend was probably her mom's. Crazy ex-husband showed up and got into the house. I'm glad Jess was home with Crosby. But man, the ending. 3 shot fired and black. Hope it makes it back for another season.

That was the best episode in a while. Script was timed, sequenced very well, very tightly.

I did not see dad. And Barnes was gone for the entire episode.

The attrition of the main cast is almost as if Whedon was killing off main characters in a series - but Joss isn't here, and these roles are not being killed off, they are just being gone. Almost surreal.

It was well written. Especially the cliff hanger of an ending.

Jess's family wasn't in the episode at all. Just work, Tally and the girlfriend.

This episode was shown again tonight.

This is a repeat of a Season 1 episode.
I don't remember if you've been able to watch all of Season 1 on DVD.

I had forgotten that it was a crossover episode, with FBI being the first half.

Hope you caught it. This may be the best episode in the series. On a whole bunch of fronts.

Last night's episode was a repeat of the 4th episode of Season 2.

I missed the original broadcast, when I was on a different schedule.
Clinton was sent away on special assignment - we have not seen him since, but the actor was on another show in 2021.
Story about lesbian Barnes and her wife - this might have been the first mention of this.

If next week is episode 5, that looks like a good one to catch - again, I missed it.

Brenda, have you seen Cold Pursuit yet? The movie.

No, I haven't seen this movie. I will have to look for it at my local library. Will make a note for Friday to do that.

What a wonderful episode tonight. Another repeat, which I had missed the original airing of. So many facets which all came together and meshed so well. Even Jess's dad managed to have one scene where he didn't seem to be a complete dickwad.

The perps, of course, got what they deserved. But the story kept pointing out the POV of the Mohawks. And a nice slew of First People actors, each with speaking parts I think.

Other than the dad, if there were any flaws with the story or plot, I didn't catch them.

Haven't looked up the next ep yet - if is another one I missed, I have high hopes for it.

Brenda - did your library have Cold Pursuit? I recall when I watched that in Cinema, all of the First Peoples roles made me conjure that you might enjoy it.

New episode next week, start of new season. It actually sounds like a decent story, hopefully they will cut out all the woke crap.

This week episode repeated the one ending with Jess entering his house where his live-in girl's Ex just went in with a gun, and shots were fired. That whole episode was much better than some of the shlock that preceded it.

It does restart up here too next Tuesday. I am looking forward to it.

The first episode of the new season was interesting. I didn't see "FBI" but they recapped in the first couple of minutes what happened last season of "Most Wanted." I am glad Jess killed his girlfriend's crazy ex before he could harm Talia or her. Now, I wait till next week to see if Crosby lives through his surgery. Sorry he was the one shot. I liked his character.

Interesting way to to introduce the new show also very good writing in tying all the episodes together.

I did not realize that the night was a 3-show crossover event. They had never made that clear on any of the commercials that I saw, which were quite a few.

But the first FBI had sounded interesting, so I was able to tune in for that one, and Crosby and Jess were already in that one. The international one practically put me to sleep.
I did not recognize Oded Fehr in the opening scenes.

I was hoping more of the original team of Most Wanted was returned.

It was mentioned in the commercials I saw that it was a crossover but not much.

I missed the first FBI and came in on Most Wanted. I didn't watch all of the International one but the tie in as I said was good.

I was hoping too. Have to see next week.

Saw tonight's episode and it was a good one. Glad Crosby survived but Jess is going to have his hands full now that Tally is getting older. Also Tally is having a hard processing what happened at the house with Crosby being shot and the girlfriend's ex being killed.

ETA: I don't think the girlfriend should be staying at the house.
