Finally watched them. I have to say I was both blown away and disappointed. The state of the art effects are simply mind blowing to me. Plus, the choreography of the fight scenes deserve high praise. Just trying to sit down and figure out the blow by blow arc of those monster fights had to be mind numbing. My hats off for that achievement.
I wish though, that the cheeky side glance humor was used less often. It really took me out of the movie each time. And current pop culture references and rock music hits for "hipness"... I am well past sick of that gimmick.
All in all - I'd watch it again just to see what I missed in all that business.

I've yet to see End Game. Liked infinity wars but the humor did suck at times. It appeared to be forced. I dug the music though when it was meant to collaborate with the galaxy guys.

What Would Mal do ?

earlier Iron Man with AC/DC stuff..helped to establish the attitude of Stark..and I thought it was cool.

First Guardians nailed it with the use of songs as well as part of the soundtrack.

Throughout the marvel universe intro of various characters... I continued to be pleasantly surprised at how they took, in many cases, heros that I never spent money on in my comic days..ie Thor, or Antman..and yet...they really amazed and entertained me... I like that Thor more often is the brunt of jokes despite his "godlike power"

Michal Luis made Antman worth rewatching...without him, it woulda been some boring Halmark made4TV movie ... but humor like Thomas the TRain....yeah...it's what seperates Marvel from the borish DC stuff out there.

since we have a forum friend here who has yet to see Endgame.. I can't talk about much more...but by now..spoilers should be all over the map...so set aside 3 hours and rent the dang thing and be done !! (grin)

America loves a winner!

I feel End Game was more a nod to those who worked on the MCU Phases 1-3 than it was a good story for the fans. The quippiness was a bit too much. As the Marvel comic universe collapses from forced social agenda nonsense, the MCU has chosen to proceed at full WOKE speed.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

I'm just a red pill guy in a room full of blue pill addicts.

M.SHE.U?

I agree about the PC/woke or whatever it’s called, felt forced. Cringie even. At the same time I know it’s just one telling of many and it represents MCU of today. Ultimately, whaddya gonna do?

I, like so many others, wanted to see my Avengers version realized on screen. The one from Neal Adams and the Buscema brothers - great comic art of my youth - and stories that didn’t have or need a “rockin’ soundtrack,” and there was never any glibness or pop culture references with a wink. Saving the world was serious business. Don’t need the Onion’s Avengers. Don’t want something new, hipster Avengers. But also, whatever. That didn’t happen this time. Maybe that will be the approach next time. I really am glad they both did so well.

WISHIMAY

I think the only thing I'm still looking forward to is the next Dr. Strange movie.

And even then, supposedly Scarlet Witch is mad at him for not saving Vision?? It feels like Civil War all over, and I didn't care for Civil War... I still think they will bring him back in some way with what Shuri did with the computer in Black Panther, though.

I have no desire to see Black Widow after she supported Woody Allen. It's her right, but it's my right to ignore her now.

Can we just call it Doctor Strange 2 for short? Multiverse of Madness is part of Marvel's Phase 4 plans that include a range of movies and TV series. Coming to the big screen is Black Widow, Thor 4: Love and Thunder, The Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. On the new Disney Plus streaming service, we'll see Marvel TV shows The Falcon and Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If...?, Hawkeye, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and Moon Knight.
