Would be interesting to see what a few of you have. I've been considering picking something up. Never sure on the costs on this stuff though or what I'm willing to justify.

Regardless, would be neat to hear "Oh yeah I have the big ass adrenaline syringe" or similar.

Most people make their own. Jewel said in an interview that Nathan took a box and dumped most of the props into his box and took it home lol. I do know that Dsears has two of the guns made from the same prop company and for 800 dollars you can have the costume designer make Mal's coat.

Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.

Right, well, there are a few websites that sell stuff used in shows. Looking at a site now that has one of Jaynes pistols (He has a lot), a bullet from Vera, one of the Hands of Blue gloves, one of Kaylee's gadgets, and even the hood they used in Safe when the hill people kidnap Simon. So got me thinking that maybe some of the people here had bought similar. Just little things you can watch the show and say "Hey I *have* that!".

That would be awesome!!!! The one thing that nobody seems to know what happened to is the poofy dress that Kaylee wears. I know that Jewel hated that thing and wanted it gone and she's been asked hundreds upon hundreds of times but she has no answer as to what happened to the thing. The bigger props I know Nathan owns. Fillion owns the pistol (although the Serenity one is still in archives because QMx has a nice video on YouTube showing it off) and I know he owns most of the clothes I believe although some are at the Universal archives like the movie browncoat and the grey shirt worn in the sequence where they use the mule to rob the saloon in town. As for other props I know Dsears has a couple I think he has two full metal props from the show and film on the gun but I don't know if they're custom or prop extras that they might've not used for filming and had lying around.

Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.

I was gifted a single currency bill from Firefly. It came from Karl Derrick, who kept the Firefly Archive for a time and was responsible for rescuing most of the original props from the show.

Geoff Mandel, graphic designer on the film Serenity, also gave me an Alliance credit, so I have currency from series and film.

I bought one of the necklaces worn by an extra in shindig from Shawna Trpcic several years ago. She auctioned quite a few things off on ebay. The dresses she was selling went for a lot, the necklace I bought was much more reasonable.

My brother (LostThought) bought one of the reavers costumes from Serenity. It even came with boots.

I found a site that sells stuff from Serenity but the thing about these websites (couldn't find the one you were on though) is that i'm not 100% sure what is really a screen used prop or basically just a glorified etsy product. The website I was on sells the Operative's gun, Mals grey buckle shirt (used during the robbery and in the end scene) and a few other clothes from Kaylee and Zoe and even some Reaver weapons. The problem i'm having is how do I know it's real? For instance I'm pretty sure Fillion's actual grey shirt is in the Universal Archives along with the Mule but this site has it claiming it's Fillion's for 1500. They are also selling the Bank Notes for 25 dollars each or 85 for a set of 5 but the thing is they are identical in every way shape and form to the QMx Bank Heist replicas. It's impossible to confirm (unless via an actual prop maker for the show) that it's not just another QMx replica being sold at a ripoff price. I'll never forget that famous episode of The Big Bang Theory where Raj buys off of Ebay an handmade Harry Potter wand replica and when he gets it in the mail he finds out the dude sent him a twig from his backyard (here's that scene). So in all honesty I don't trust websites that claim to sell screen used props. It's awesome though if people have met a cast member and they've been gifted a prop though like that person with the Necklace who found an extra selling them or that person gifted a single bank note. STEAMER

There's a guy on my crew in the New England Browncoats who owns a metric shit-ton of screen-used props from both show and movie, including but not limited to guns, radios, paramedic badges from 'Ariel', and costume pieces.

A couple of years ago we even got our hands on the chair from the infirmary!!
