I'm doing research for some upcoming military based drama's and I'm watching Full Metal Jacket. And who's mug should I see but Adam Baldwin himself. It was an altogether unexpected shiny moment.

Do you have a unexpected shiny sighting? Please share.

Wash (alan tudyk) on A Knights Tale. Never caught the movie till it came out on t.v.

Tracy on Angel. Not rure if its fair to include Firefly folk on other Joss projects, since he's well known for that sort of cross over thing.

Adam Baldwin on SG1. Ok, Adam's got a resume' thats as long as my arm, so that's not too tough a sighting.

The search continues....

Here's a fun one... Alan Tudyk (Wash) in 28 Days (the one with Sandra Bullock, not the thriller called 28 Days Later)...

Also, Morena Baccarin's (Inara) Secret commercial has started being shown on TV again.

I sadly still remember this one from my youth. Check out DC Cab for a young Adam Baldwin and The Busey.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Best Adam performance, other than Firefly, of course, is My Bodyguard. I've loved that movie since I was a young whipper snapper.

It's been awhile since I saw that movie, but, didn't he want us to look at his "package"?

Important people don't do field work.

I was watching The Man in the Iron Mask. Don't ask.

Well, I noticed that the head musketeer under Dartagnan was none other than Atherton Wing with a mustache and a long wig. Creepy.

He does get arguably the best line in the movie though..."All I ever wanted to be all my life...was him."

Take my word for it. Don't watch the movie.

Please.

Ooo! Book was on Friends?? What episode/season?

I first saw Adam Baldwin on a tv show called either The Cape or Cape Canaveral. I *loved* him on that show. Anyone else remember it?

I don't remember seeing Alan Tudyk in A Knight's Tale the first time I saw it, but of course I recognized him when I saw it on TBS. He was actually the only reason I decided to see it the second time.

I loved Atherton as Duncan Idaho in Children of Dune...he was great! Also he was Merlin in a Charmed episode last season. Adam was great in The Cape, they had excellant effects too. It took me forever to remember Larry Pennell (Murphy from Sindig) when he was on Ripcord in 1961. Adam has also done NCIS..looks good in uniform...and I believe a JAG as well. Gina was in that syndicated Cleopatra show set in the future. My son didn't even recognize Ron Glass as Harris in Barney Miller although he liked him in Teen Angel.

He was Ross' divorce attorney. He made an appearance or two while Ross and Rachel were trying to sort out their Vegas wedding. Can't remember which season that was. 4?

I remember this show. I wish I had the episodes on tape but alas it aired during a time when my VCR was broken. Oh well. Maybe some years down the road the producing studio will release it on DVD. haha (long shot I know.)

Why, yes...yes he did! And pointed right to it, too! (His character's name was Gerhardt.) Alan does a lovely Germanic accent.

I have 2 favourite serenity crew suprises

Sean (Simon)in CSI Miami playing a creepy guy who likes to have sex with girls whilst they're passed out on the beach - that was an interesting sight.

And, in a round about way, seeing Jayne played by Ron Perlman in Alien Resurrection. Honestly check it out, most of the crew are there in some guise or another.

This is my first post, please respect me in the morning.

I think it aired before I even knew *how* to tape a show. That's lame, I know.

That movie is insanely historically innaccurate, although not as much as the Disney "Three Musketeers".

But also, Atherton Wing was Sydney Bristow's fiance who got killed in the pilot episode of Alias.

I finally saw Morena on the Secret commecial, last night. :)

And I purposely rented "Cheats" from Netflix so I could see Jewel (Kaylee). I just got done watching it. :) I tried finding movies the others had been in. We have the Matrix movies here at home, so I didn't need those ones. But Cheats was the only one available, that I hadn't seen before.

ANGELDOVE

Jewel in the x-files episode Oubliette Season 3, young but still beautiful and great acting for someone of her age, very reminicent of her performance in OIS, but probably 'cause she was playing a kidnapped girl kept in a basement and terrorized by her abductor. (She even got mouth to mouth with David at the end)
Honey I Shrunk the Kids (TV show) (caught her in this role while flipping channels, she is just so cute.

Miranda Clarke- O.C.(my friend told me she starred in this show when I converted her to Firefly), The Pretender, Charmed, Stuck On You, Sliders (never watched it, caught it on SciFi, saw her as a part human part animal thing, knew that I knew her from something, took me a while to figure it out. Finally figured it out by her voice)

Christina Hendricks - Angel ep Prodical (The Wench, couldn't believe it when I saw it in recent repeats!)Tru Calling ep Murder In the Morgue, Hunger Point- TV movie, (I stopped and watched the rest when I saw her, a good deal thinner, she played a Bulimic.)

Also was shocked to see Ron in Friends eps, The One Where Joey Loses His Insurance & The One Where Ross Hugs Rachel Season 6

As well as Alan in A Knights Tale which I had seen before but did not notice him until I saw it advertised for TV airing. My friend that noticed Melinda from OC, also recognized him from 28 Days which just astounded me that she remembered seeing him in that fairly small role years before.

And I know we all know this, but I just love seeing Nathan as Caleb in Buffy Season 7 his episodes just started repeating today & I had forgotten that his role was the only redeeming aspect of Season 7 for me. It is amusing how very similar the characters of Mal and Caleb were in speach, and the anti-religious aspect of both characters as well, sure one's evil and the other mostly good, but still intriguingly alike. It just warms my heart seeing him in that role, strange as that may sound.
