So... There I was; standing behind our fearless leader Joss Whedon in "video village" the moment before he called action on film roll #1, scene 3, take 1 of Serenity the Movie. With my little Digi-Elph camera in hand and Summer in the monitor... I tapped him and our beautiful script supervisor Jain from the series on the shoulders,
they turns around nice and slow and both give the "sah-weetest" grins I ever seen as I popped the flash!

Joss: "Action!"

What do you mean 'used to be'? It still is from what I know. It is the most active Firefly board and still owned by 20th Century Fox. So I think that makes it the Official Board still. Plus they get all the cast members posting over there.

It's not so surprising really - none of the newbies can find the OB. It doesn't come up on google searches. I think most of the new fans end up here. Which is fine, because they're going to close that old board again someday. I'm just wondering when Universal and Mutant Enemy will get something up in the way of a community board. It seems that would be the new 'official board' if they ever get it going. They should really just throw some real money behind our own Haken and give him official status.

It was more a play on, THIS is the superior board, shouldn't WE be the official board? I mean, c'mon, I've been to the OB and it's UGLY. This site.... rocks!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Adam is a really great guy! I knew we could count on him for updates.

Now he mentioned a camera. Wonder when we will start seeing some pics posted up somewhere.

I would really like to see a community board opened up for the movie. It would be nice to be able to get updates from the TPTB and maybe see some pics of the set & cast.

With people like Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin in the show, is it any wonder we just love it?

I mean, they have got to be two of the coolest human beings on earth to post information about the show --now MOVIE! and unabashedly discuss how much they loved this show.

Just makes it that much more special.

I'm getting all giddy just thinking about the fact that we'll have a BDM to see!!!!!
