Does anyone know if any of the cast or crew of Firefly ever have visited this website and seen all the of the posts and information that is on this site? I would like to think that someone affiliated with the show has been here at some point and seen just how much we love and miss the show.

Someone mentioned earlier that Jewel Staite (Kaylee) had at least gotten a list of questions from Fireflyfans.net. The thread is in General Discussions somewhere. As far as anyone else dropping by i am not sure. some admin probably knows.

here is the link to the Jewel Staite Q+A thread

I know that Adam Baldwin posts on the OB (prospero), but it's mostly in the political threads. I'm not sure about the rest. It would be nice if they personally read our devotion, wouldn't it?

Jewel's parents, allegedly, use to visit the site.

It was Jewel's Mom, actually. She contacted me once to inquire about the price of artwork, having followed the link from here to where I had it posted. She's the only one I know of for sure.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Adam posts on the OB quite often, and as noted mostly in the political threads, and Nathan has posted there on occasion too, along with Mark Shepard (Badger) and Chris Buchanan. I believe Joss and Tim Minear post at one of the Buffy sites, and a lot of times those are cross-posted to the OB.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

To my knowledge, none of the cast have posted here, opting instead to post at the official site. Adam posts more frequently than the others, but mostly in the political threads. Nathan does post from time to time, but other than Chris B, I have not seen posts from any of the others.

Joss did have someone post a message on the original "Fireflyisms" thread we had running awhile back. Apparently he could not get logged on here and asked someone else to post here on his behalf to express his delight at that particular thread.

Is there an official site for Serenity or Firefly? And here I thought I'd already found it : wink:

Also, Browncoat1, could you give us a link to the Fireflyisms thread? Any thread Joss likes that much, I gotta read.

In other words, none of the cast or crew love us, sniffle...

(zoid puts on patented, Gunhand-designed tinfoil hat)

Or... Maybe somebody over at the OB has hypnotized the employees of ME... or those evil bastards have abducted them and are forcing them to ignore us... or, I know! *gasp!* They slept with them! ("Josie and the Pussycats", a filmic masterpiece)

We must fight back! Elwoodmom: Onto your pole! Ebonezer: Into your riding habit, and don't forget the crop! Mmmm-a-licious: You... well, you just do that voodoo, that you do, so well...

(zoid blushes fetchingly from the tips of his tender pink toes to the top of his liver-spotted bald head... shet! thet wint rigt intu teh keybordd!)

Disturbingly,

zoid

P.S.
I don't know if my plan of action will work on the cast and crew of Firefly, but it sure works for me.

Okay, I'm on my pole, but I need music. A little Rebel Yell, perhaps??

The Billy Idol song or an actual Rebel yell? I can do either ya know, song's good, actual yell is good for creepifying network execs.

Elwoodmom:

Make it good. If we can get Adam and Nathan over here, the rest'll probably tag along. The lady wants something from "Rebel Yell", so how about a nice grind-y ballad with a kickin' bridge (always dug the innuendo, too)

Eyes Without A Face

i'm all out of hope
One more bad dream could bring a fall
When i'm far from home
Don't call me on the phone
To tell me you're alone
It's easy to deceive
It's easy to tease
But hard to get release

Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

I spend so much time
Believing all the lies
To keep the dream alive
Now it makes me sad
It makes me mad at truth
For loving what was you

Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.

When you hear the music you make a dip
Into someone else's pocket then make a slip.
Steal a car and go to las vegas oh, the gigolo pool.
Hanging out by the state line,
Turning holy water into wine
Drinkin' it down
I'm on a bus on a psychedelic trip
Reading murder books tryin' to stay hip.
I'm thinkin' of you you're out there so
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.
Say your prayers.

Now i close my eyes
And i wonder why
I don't despise
Now all i can do
Is love what was once
So alive and new
But it's gone from your eyes
I'd better realise

Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Les yeux sans visage eyes without a face
Got no human grace your eyes without a face.
Such a human waste your eyes without a face
And now it's getting worse.

Here's a five for the diva...

Respectfully (huh?),

zoid

Yes. When we refer to the OB that means Official Board which can be found here at http://forums.prospero.com/foxfirefly/home. Their community is much larger than ours and a little bit older than ours so be careful what you post over there because what is approriate here ain't over there and they will jump all over you for that. Plus, they don't like spoilers and their definition of spoiler is anything that has to do with the movie. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of them didn't know the title to the Firefly movie (joking).

But you will also hear a lot of funny things. The Browncoats at the Official Board will say they were the first while the Browncoats here will say they were the first. Really confusing and I have heard a hundred different stories on the subject. One of these days I'm going to write a book.

There are also at least 5 or more other Browncoat communities out there but not as large or as well known as the OB or FFF.net.

Hope that helps a little bit.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

Well, since the goal is to get some of the BDHs to post here on the Best Firefly Board, and insofar as I've nominated Nathan and Adam as the keystones to the success of the plan... and since you're a 20-year old (happy b'day, again!) college-edge-amacated farmer's daughter... and since they're guys of a het'ro bent... I'd have to say you're welcome to do anything you can think of to help. Whatever that might be, I'm sure it'll help. Talent's got nuthin' to do with it. Still waiting to hear from Mmmm-a-licious; maybe she could bring Neroli (since they've bonded so closely) and together they could tutor you up on any skills you might be lacking...

(zoid turns page on sketchbook and re-sharpens charcoals. strictly for the archives, you understand. almost broke his wrist trying to draw that thing elwoodmom just did on her pole)

Arrestingly,

zoid

Well, Gunhand, I really like the song, but you could always join in with the howl! Now, imagine this. I'll do my best rendition of Jamie Lee Curtis in True Lies...who wants to be sitting in the chair? Must be able to speak French!

When I tire out, since I'm old, ya know, then Cageybee could take over! How's that?
