Yay, finally Ron Glass is listed on the IMDB for Serenity. About time, I say.

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I submitted that information a few days ago, the first time I have ever added anything to any page at IMDb. Since Joss and Nathan had both mentioned that all the regulars were going to be in the BDM I thought it was time that their "Serenity" listing and Ron Glass' profile page reflected that.

Then again, I am wondering if that information was also submitted by someone else, or that whoever updates stuff on the site had been doing some checking around. First off, when I submitted the info just last Friday, they emailed me and said it would take 7-14 days for it to show up on the site, unless they found contradictory information.

Also, you may have noticed that not only is Ron included now, but the cast listing is in a different order than it had been before, with the notation that it is "In Credit Order." That is not the order the cast was in on the opening credits to the tv show, and I doubt very seriously if anyone has yet compiled a credit list for the film, unless it is on the script.

wo men ren ran zai fei xing.

You know, I've submitted lots of stuff to IMDB and it's never been accepted. I know the IMDB makes mistakes, but I think they try very hard to get accurate information. I suspect the IMDB has a direct contact with someone at ME or Universal and they ignore input from fans.

Glad to see Ron Glass is finally getting mention. He deserves it. Go Ron!
Ryan Tasz... I went looking for a picture of him. He's unfamiliar to me. I only found one and it wasn't very good. Anybody know if he's a good actor or have a good pic of him?

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Alan Tudyk .... Jerry Lee "Wash" Warren???

Wash's name is Jerry Lee Warren? Where did "Wash" come from? Is IMDb wrong on the name?

I think I may be able to explain that...
It seems to be almost a 'given' amongst us Browncoats that Wash's surname is Warren.
In the commentary for The Message, Alan Tudyk makes a joke about it being Jerry Lee Lewis flying the ship.
Now, either that made Joss Whedon decide on calling Wash Jerry Lee Warren, or IMDB (reverse that, and it's BDMI- Big Damn Movie ...something beginning with 'I') have gotten it wrong by the things I mentioned above. *Phew!*

I know this doesn't go here but I couldn't figure out how to start a new post. Today on IMDB Wash's name was listed as Jerry Lee "Wash" Warren.

For future reference - click on the message area that you want to put your new thread in, in this case it would have been 'general discussions', Buffy stuff goes in the Buffyverse area, Angel stuff in the Angelus Arcanum area etc.

In the top right hand corner is a horizontal menu. Click on the last choice which is 'post new thread'.

Put the thread title in the subject box and type what you want to say in the main body box.

Then click on the post button.

"Wash" is a term for the backblast from engines (especially in sci-fi, where a ship's "engine wash" is typically shown as a rocket-like tail of flame [despite the fact that fire doesn't burn in space]). In at least one spaceflight sim series (Star Wars' X-Wing series), engine wash can damage any smaller ships passing through it.

Could just be a sensical nickname for a space pilot.
