Hi guys. I've recently been sketching the various characters and ships of firefly in the hope of brushing up on my drawing skills before I set about a project that I have been giving consideration to for sometime now. The project in mind is to produce a firefly comic to keep my fellow Browncoats going until the movie release. I would hopefully be able to produce a comic to post on the site every week or so if Haken would permit it. As this would be a large task I was wondering if any of you would be willing to get involved in the project? Im really looking for help with stories and scripting although help with drawing and especially painting (perhaps on a drawing package) would be appriechachiated. Any Ideas or opinions would be helpfull too. Thanks guys.

Hey Southernslayer.

I'm trying to take on a similar sort of project myself. Not a comic or anything but just a drawing of everyone in some capacity (I fancy myself a bit of cartoonist of sorts). Good luck though I hope you can pull something together.

Wow! That's a great idea. My artistic skills extend to compass, ruler, and protractor though. However, I've been told by others that I'm good with dialogue. Maybe some of the folks playing the RP would be interested as well.

I do not have any professional training for such an undertaking, but have been told by several that my stories are very good. Never tried my hand at any Firefly fic, but am willing to pitch in for the cause.

I sat down last night to write a story, and realised I didn't know something: What kind of length do you want for each story? My own stories have ranged from approx. 1 side of A5 to 8 pages of A4.
BTW, I'm posting this here instead of emailling you as there may be others in the same conundrum...
