I've been warning friends who are Twinkie-lovers to stock up, as it looked like bad news coming. The things have a half-life of who knows how long, and I am sure that deep in a hidden cranny of Serenity there is a case of perfectly edible (well, in-original-condition) Twinkies.
They go down a treat with Mudder's Milk.
Or try putting one in a dish and sprinkling mashed strawberries over it. Let soak and watch rimworlds out the front of the boat while you take tiny little melting bites.

Ooh, that sounds yummy!

Never been a fan of Twinkies so much myself, but I did like Hostess cupcakes and fruit pies. Also assorted Ding-Dongs, HoHo's and Choco-Diles. I like frosting on my snack cakes.

Nooooo!
The horror, the horror!
We're dooooooomed!

Actually, wasn't there an off-brand called zingers or something?
I do recall munching a good many of those back in school, cause they were cheaper than twinkies......

I'm hoping another baking company gets the OK to bring back Twinkes, I just hope they don't try to change anything, just bake them the way Hostess did.
