There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I was sure I had posted news about this a month or so ago but I can't find it anywhere. Gina and Alan are in Dallas this weekend, signing autographs, offering photo ops, and also doing a Q&A panel tomorrow.

I just got back from a single day visit to Dallas Comic-Con/Official Pix Fan Days. I got autographs from Gina on her Inkworks card and the Zoe cover of the original Serenity comics, and for Alan I got one on his card and on the Float Out comic. Already had his on the Wash cover of the original comic. That means at this time I am short just one autograph on the Serenity comics (Nathan) and two on the cards (Nathan & Summer).

I also got an autograph from Felicia Day on a Guild comic, and if I hadn't lost my camera I would share a photo of me and her together. She was allowing that in the signing line, but also had a photo-op later. Gina and Alan were not allowing posed photos in the line, and I was tapped out of money so I couldn't afford any of the photo ops this time around.

I wish I was rich, because I also had the opportunity to get autographs from Stan Lee, Bruce Campbell, David Prowse, Ian McDiarmid, Robert Englund, Sean Astin and Lance Henriksen among many others, plus lots of comic artists and writers.

A gorram good time was had by all!

Am I the only one who thought JR was going to get some cool guest stars?

You know, JR? Larry Hagman? From Dallas?

J.R. Ewing from Dallas(2012), resurrected from the long time dead 1978 TV show, also called Dallas. The catchy phrase is, "They're back, and no, you're not dreaming." - www.imdb.com/title/tt1723760/

If Dallas, why not Firefly? It would be great to see Nathan Fillion comeback to an old role like Larry Hagman has done -- Malcolm Reynolds with bushy white eyebrows and a bald spot as the crotchety old captain of the next incarnation of Firefly.
