http://home.adele.tv They're making a big deal out of this song online, I think "Live and Let Die" will always be the best.

I always think Chris Cornell "you know my name" was a bit unrated but I would go with Duran Duran "view to a kill"

What Would Mal do ?

gotta put em all in perspective as they were trendy for their times songs.

all i know is the one with Madonna.....somebody should gotten slapped for that one...

I've always been impressed with the quality of the soundtrack songs across the board though..high marks for that.

felt like Lie n Let Die captured it's movie the best

could agree with you more about the Madonna one, I never like the key/tempo change in Live and Let Die.

America loves a winner!

It's damn impressive, to say the least. And that Adele was born in England, fits in all that much more.

Sounds like she was trying to channel Shirley Bassey. Not that that's a bad thing. Goldfinger and Diamonds are Forever are among my favorites.

No more running. I aim to misbehave.

It will be considered one of the better ones. My top three are: "Live and Let Die", "Nobody Does It Better" and "For Your Eyes Only"

The Vid kinda sucks, but the tune is swank.

There's been some great ones, but "Live and Let Die" is my favorite.

Live and Let Die has aged the best, and it's also just kinda badass on it's own merits. It's like the producers said, "man, we have all these weird unmemorable jazzy songs with saxophones, let's get some people in here who can rock the f*** out."

I'm partial to Her Majesty's Secret Service "We have all the time in the world" By John Barry and Hal David and sung by Loius Armstrong.

I also like Living Daylights. By Aha.

As I understand it most soundtracks are produced by the composer of the film in question, so Madonna's version may not be her fault. I dunno?

STORYMARK

I have really liked both "You Know My Name" and "Skyfall" - though the theme that came between them, "Another Way to Die" is one of the worst ever.

Reaching back further, I do dig "Live and Let Die" and "A View to a Kill" quite a bit - even if Im not crazy about the films the arrived with.

After watching Shirley Bassey bring the house down with her song I pick;

1. Goldfinger
2. Live and Let Die
3. Nobody Does It Better
4. You Only Live Twice

She gave me chills.

I think, with Madonna, they were trying to be all modern. Its not like Madge couldn't carry a more traditional tune.

I think I'd have to go with the "Live and Let Die" consensus.

Incidentally, is it just me or does the track "Supremacy" from the latest Muse album sound like it was supposed to be a Bond theme? (OK, Muse do have a bit of a magpie tendency...)
