I've always been a fan of last words. I enjoy the funny ones just as much as I do the awesome ones. However, Wash's were the first depressing last words I've ever been a fan of and they quickly jumped to the top of my best last words list, replacing ones like

"They couldn't hit an elephant from this dist-" (Blown apart by a cannonball)

and

"I am sorry Monsieur, I did not mean to step on you foot." - Marie Antoinette to her executioner.

This got me curious about what some other people's favorite last words might be. Funny, depressing, or just plain awesome, all last words are welcome here!

"I am a leaf on the wind. Watch how I soar."

I'm not sure if this is a real "last words" or just a joke that has been passed down for a long time among actors. Supposedly Edmund Gwenn's last words were, "Dying is easy. Comedy is hard."
