I had an idea that we might enjoy. Ok, honestly I stole an idea I thought we may enjoy. I got the idea from book crossing but thought it would work well for Firefly. Basically there are 4 disk in a Firefly DVD set. We take disks and place them someplace to be found. Maybe one of our talented artists can make up a flyer we can print out and tape inside the cover. Something along the lines of.

You just caught a Firefly. It was released by (screen name) Firefly was a short lived much loved TV series. If you watch it and enjoy it, please release it again and go to (this thread address) and post where you found it and who released it.

If you really enjoyed it you can get the rest of the series and movie to enjoy. Maybe release some Firefly's of your own.

We can post where we released them here if we want or just check in to see if someone found one. Might be fun. Who knows where they may end up.

I'm heading to Vegas for the weekend, so I'll leave a couple of disks in the airport. Freebie in Vegas might be just what someone needs for their trip home.

Thanks for the sale tip Century. Posting deals like that will keep us stocked up.

Still could use someone to make us a flyer we can tape inside the cover. I'll give it a try but I'm sure there are others that could make something shiny.

Sounds like a great idea. I will be going back to school in a few weeks so I can leave some around the campus. Also I will be attending a NFL game in the fall so I can always leave some discs around the stadium. Count me in!

My daughter made these for us to use. She also saved them to a zip file as a PSD file (link below) so if you have photoshop, you can add your screen name to them before you print them out. Otherwise you can just write it in.
