(In whiney voice) but mum that vote wasn't fair:

1) it was placed at the end of the original vote so you could only knew it was happening by looking.

2) My computer was once eaten by my goldfish. It now can't or won't always load the large threads. This happened on the Monday so I couldn't vote.

3) The time differences meant that some countries only got ten hours voting time, while others got sixteen.

On this basis, plus the fact there is no way Jayne is better than Mal, I think a revote should occur.

Because Hook is so good that everyone that likes it deserves a cookie.<<

I think I missed something about cookies...On another thread, or somewhere in the midst of this long thread?

Yup, June 1st is the anniversary of me being hatched to wreak mayhem across the lands.

And I'm not heavilly armed, I'm prudently armed. However opinion indeed varies on what's "prudent". I think a LAV-25 is a perfectly reasonable vehicle for light city driving myself.

its because jayne actually does have brains....its just sometimes that his brawn gets in the way. its there, underlying the whole time, that jayne is a huge softie....just like a certain poster who keeps insisting he's mean. no one here is really mean (at leat in my limited experience), unless poll results get tampered with. then the only thing to do is riot....its surprising how often that's the answer, especially with hotness debates.

I think you're missing something.
Zoe is a hard core warrior woman. Warrior women don't like soft cushy men...they need REAL men.
Wash appears to be a soft cushy man...however, in order for Zoe to be with him, this cannot be true. However, we know it IS true SO there must be SOMETHING to make up for him being a pansie that Zoe enjoys...something we don't see...something hidden...
need I be more obvious?

(by the way, none of the Firefly guys are for me cause...well...I'm a guy...however I will willingly take all the women off of the guys hands)

while i agree that wash is probably hiding something up his sleeve (or under his belt, hehehe), i don't think that's the reason that zoe is with him. funny is incredibly sexy. that's why the whole cast is so sexy, they are all so funny. jayne combines the delicious sex appeal of a bad boy and the hilarity of a goofball...but mal is so sexy and so dry with his humor that he's fairly irresistable as well. and while wash's humor comes before his hotness, look at him in "war games." definitely sexy there.

i could go on and on about the intertwining of humor and sex appeal, but that would make me appear even more shallow than i've already done. and we can't be ruining all my hard-earned credibility that i won fighting for jayne's hotness.

You're still credible with us KGB. Although I'm not sure about the funny is sexy thing, I'm funny yet mean!

Wash is with Zoe because sometimes people that seem like complete opposites with nothing in common are usually the best couples. You just can't figure out who'll make for a lasting couple, hell I have friends who dated women that were "perfect" and you'd think they'd get married and live happily ever after and within a few months they want to kill each other; then other friends I've said,"You're dating who??" because it seemed like it'd never work and next thing I know I'm listening them talking about their 10th anniversary in Vegas. Weird. Love is one of those things you just can't analyize too much, it's there or it's not and only the couple involved will ever know the truth and even then they probably can't explain it.

I even dated the "perfect woman" for a while, and we wound up trying to kill each other. Well not kill because either of us could have done it, but damn it was hard on the furniture...She had a temper and a blackbelt.

I dunno about the pilot thing, I've flown before well once, but that didn't seem to make any impact on the womenfolk. Now the shirts on the other hand...

I have some Hawaiian shirts that put Wash's to shame on the "tacky" scale and womenfolk always seem to ask me all about them and whatnot. The pilot thing, not so much.

So there's the secret to Wash's appeal, the Tacky Shirts!

Oh she had way more than a temper and a blackbelt, those are just two of her many spooky features. Hehe.

How do I get into these things? Well we shared the same interests and background, hell we met during an unarmed combat course. Mostly though and to paraphrase YoSaffBridge, she was really hot.
