GUNHAND

Hmmm, interesting one. Here are my picks, although I'm fair sure I'll forget more than one or ten until someone mentions them later:

Battlestar Galactica
Barney Miller
Miami Vice
A-Team
Rockford Files
Simon & Simon
CHiPs
Dukes of Hazard
Space: Above and Beyond
Remmington Steele
Knight Rider
The A-Team
Airwolf
Welcome Back Kotter

Yes, with few exceptions I am indeed ruled by my Inner Child. What a punk he is too...

around playing art critic till I get pinched by
the Man, how's about we move away from this
eerie-ass piece of work and get on with our
increasingly eerie-ass day, how's that?"

I agree, and would like to add:

Misfits of Science
V: The original mini-series (maybe not quite 24 hours, though--settle for once a week)
Riptide
Haunted (anyone remember this show? It was on UPN, right after Firefly... one of the only truly creepifying shows I've ever seen on TV)
Alien Nation
Voltron
Tales from the Darkside
Whose Line is it Anyway? (I know, it's not sci-fi, but funny as hell)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Angel

I'm sure I could name more, given the time...

Keep the Shiny side up

Good choices all. Here's a few more:

Monty Python's Flying Circus
Red Dwarf
The original Outer Limits
Science Fiction Theater (Way old, in BW)
did anyone mention Amazing Stories?
