Here is my wish list of things I would LOVE to pick up at my corner Firefly store with my Brown hat-shaped credit/eye-dent card:

1) Firefly window clings for my car. Large ones for the front and rear windshields, smaller ones for the side windows.

2) Firefly patches. (Gwyneth? Are you ok?) Iron on would be best as I am somewhat lazy, but sew on would be good too. It just might take more time to actually apply it to something. Also, it probably wont look all that great.

3) A Firefly inspired license plate for the front of my car. My spouse has a Philadelphia Eagles one that is very shiny ( ) chrome with a simple Eagles emblem in the center. That would be ideal. Except with some sort of Firefly emblem instead. (Personally, this would have to be something definitively from Firefly. Not just a chinese symbol. Also, not made of plastic.)

4) A leather vest like Zoe's.

5) A Malcom Reynolds. I would also take a Nathan Fillion, but he'd have to be willing to dress like Mal on occasion.

SO! My half birthday is May 19th. Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?

My main hope in starting this thread is that some super-genius type people/person will magically create these things and thereby enable me to purchase them.

My sub-plot/secondary reason is to see what all you other 'coats might have a want/need/desire for. Whether they are realistic or not apparently does not matter (obviously!)....

1.) Have Sean Maher permanently attached to my arm.

2.) Have several different Firefly inspired t-shirts (i sadly don't have any yet )

3.) Have a bumper sticker and a messenger bag that say "No power in the 'verse can stop me"

4.) Have a coat like Mal's, a vest like Zoe's, oh! and hair like Inara would be good too!

America loves a winner!

Well, so far, all I have to 'show' that i'm a Firefly fan is.....

2 DVD box sets. Ok, you can't so much wear those, but you CAN lend 1 set out while you keep one for yourself

2 Blue Sun logo T-Shirts. 1 White, 1 Jayne Khaki. Still have yet to wear them out in public....

Blue Sun logo as my computer wallpaper. And yes, it's already gotten compliments/remarks " oh cool, whats that ? "....hee hee.

What I'd LIKE.....hmmmmm

As awesome as Mals long jacket is..not too much oportunity to wear such a garb here in Atlanta, GA.

Perhaps a bumper sticker w/ the Firefly, Blue Sun logos...or just a basic white , oval shaped sticker w/ a image of Serenity on it...

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

Well as soon as I get back to Arizona I'm planning on going down to Sonora and seeing what the (abso-farkin-lutely amazing) leatherworkers and embroiderers down there can do for my dream jacket.

I want to make some unit patches and whatnot and then have them put together a leather pilot's jacket, brown of course. Sort of like a Flying Tigers flight jacket from WWII but for the 'Verse.

Pretty sure I can get it all done, and then I'll have a very shiny jacket to wear to the BDM! Yay!

Okay I'll calm down now.

Oh and you can get bumperstickers through some of the cafe press links around here too.

Well, I have a little project going on now...doing my duty as a browncoat with promoting the show and the movie. *grin* I had the patches from Freya? sewn unto my jacket. I am now in the process of embroiding BROWNCOATS "We Shall Rise Again" on the back of it. So far all's very shiny lookin'.

Next step in the project later on, is embroiding "No Power in the 'verse can stop me." in the front corner, along with the Chinese Serenity symbol in the other one. And I was really looking foward for the Serenity patch from Gwen to add on to it. Any word out there?

And I wouldn't mind Nathan Fillion attached to my arm either.

Would also thing a bumper sticker or a little car deco. Also, I would a Blue Sun patch, sadly I don't have the sewing machine to make one.

INARA
"Yes. Great. I wish you hundreds of fat children."

I ordered a whole pile of stuff here:
http://www.cafeshops.com/faded/209176
my favorite is my yellow Jayne Cobb, the Hero of Canton t-shirt.
And I got iron on transfer paper at OfficeMax with which I have made a whole bunch of old t-shirts and sweatshirts into Firefly shirts, mostly with the BlueSun logo...because I figure only another Browncoat will recognize it!
I wear them almost every day!

I just love having my Firefly stuff around me, and I'm always looking for new things to buy or make to feed my obsession

PS I want Jayne attached to MY arm!

By getting my own fully functional Vera... or the Serenity herself.
That would rock.
For now I'll just settle for my Blue Sun Shirt that I just got. It's so cool...

Embers,

Thank you sooo much. I had no idea that I needed a Jayne Cobb, Hero of Canton lunchbox as well as a Malcom Reynolds.

Hmmm, I wonder if they could make me a Niska lunchbox?

Oops, forgot to recheck here, glad ya found the place Mal-licious.

I'd start shopping some there too but...I'm all shopped out for the week, even if it isn't a mall with annoying people; my credit card has been giving me some really dirty looks the past couple of days so gonna let it cool off some before I get a pile of stuff from there.
