Indeed, it's still one of my favourite "conspiracy" series.

(Though it actually came out years ago; it's a Canada/South Africa copro. Apparently it only reached Syfy last year.)

...and it wasn't given a second season - just checked. Pity sounded different.

Hello, and thank you. I'm not sure if you read the graphic novels but if you had then even more so... still, it appeals to the indie filmmaker in me, and the cheap skate. I mean those eps with all the super long thoughtful introspection close-ups can't cost more than what Wish pays for gas a month...

Just started watching Modern Family - very funny, surprisingly funny. Way to go ABC. I believe there's an ex-Cheers producer/writer helping to make it funny.

I've been watching Preppers - people who plan for the apocalypse - pretty interesting so far, plenty science fictiony as well.

I'm a frustrated traveler, just jingle the keys and I'm like a dog - roadtrip! So I like Anthony Bourdain's Layover (48 hours in some city, usually foreign), House Hunter's International (if you had to rent a pad in Europe), and Selling either LA or New York (see the view inside million dollar homes/condos - it's like being a party crasher).

My biggest 'can't wait for' is Game of Thrones season 2 - the clips look great, season one was pretty damn perfect once it got rolling.

TV iz currently between Breaking Bad seazonz, so I'm mostly watching moviez and newz.

I usually watch The Daily Show & the Colber Repor. Turn on CNN & jump back & forth the MSNBC. Occasionally look at Fox Cable 'newz' to see how long it takes till they take a jab at Obama. (they went for a whole 5 minutes once!)

Sunday iz alwayz Animation Domination.

Thanks for cluing me in that Walking Dead iz rezuming! I'm not super exceted about the show, but I havent missed an episode yet.

I get Dexter complete seazonz on DVD or BR and then donate them to the library.

I also still watch American Idol, but the last 3 or 4 seazonz havent been so great.

Theres a show about s t o r a g e u n i t s ......?

Unfortunately, yes. More than one I think, although I haven't seen any of them. Pawn Stars is similar too, sort of a low-rent Antiques Roadshow. I've lost all respect for those running The Learning Channel and The History Channel, because that's about all they run these days. I'm sure some are interesting, at least to other people, but I miss the days when they were about real history documentaries, archaeology, paleontology, etc.

Re: Charlie Jade. Yes, there's just one season, it does leave you wanting more, but I still think it rewards the discriminating viewer. Definitely a different pace than an American series would have had, it's very moody and surreal at times. As far as I know it has only been released on PAL format dvd, but both Netflix and HuluPlus have it streaming.

I was watching Downton Abbey, but that's finished now for the next year (Will Thomas never get his comeuppance? Stealing the earl's dog is pretty damn low.)

On Netflix,I've been watching "Breaking Bad" and "Sons of Anarchy", but I'm done with those now.

Now I'm rewatching "Rome", and waiting for "Game of Thrones" and the 2nd season of "Walking Dead" on DVD too. And the new seasons of "Dexter" and "Justified" on DVD.

I won't see 4th season Castle until it comes out on DVD. Truthfully, I've gotten frustrated with the "will they - won't they" bit. I'm tired of being manipulated, and am losing interest entirely.

I like watching shows without commercials so I wait for them on DVD.

Thank goodness for books, because the pickings in TV land are often slim.

Just wondering if anyone has caught HAVEN?

It's actually not bad. Based on a Stephen King story....

(I've spent some time around the area where it's shot too, it's quite fun spotting the location.)

I have also been watching it thinking Jewel Staite would have been perfect in the lead. Shame she wasn't considered, though Emily Rose is good.
