There was a location guy looking over my workplace (lab) as a possible location for a FF shoot.

Yeah! Pick us! Pick us! We all LOVE the show!! We'll put out a red carpet for ya!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Where do you live if you don't mind me asking?

I find this sort of hard to swallow just because wouldn't they most likely just build a set for a lab. Nothing against you. Just seems sort of fishy that a guy is going around saying he is looking for shooting spots for Firefly. This usually doesn't happen.

What kind of lab do you work at?

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

I live near LA. Our lab has been used as location for lots of movies including "The Insider" and that horrible TV show "The Burning Zone". I guess because we're a real working lab and this is only a sideline, I assume that we lease out pretty cheap.

My home is open for a shoot! Heck, I'll even do the dishes and sweep the floor for the crew!

GUNHAND

Hell I have a whole ranch they can use...

...as long as I get to be Madagascar Cobb.

Ah, who am I kidding, I'd let them use the ranch just so I could sit and stare.

eerie-ass piece of work and get on with our
increasingly eerie-ass day, how's that?"

ORANGERFUL

that is oh so very cool. Of course, you'll have to leave one of the lab computers on a certain message board site so Joss&co. can just *happen* to stumble upon it....

Man, this is exactly what location managers do where I live. I could watch them shoot Assault on Precinct 13 from my balcony every night at a local restaurant and go outside my downtown condo and watch them shoot Sue Whatever, FBEye. And starting this week, Russell Crowe will be here to do Cinderella Man, across the street at a distillery. Crews are constantly using live-by-day businesses.
