So I've only had my DVD player since December (got it to watch Firefly, of course) and I'm still learning what all the buttons do. Last night, I somehow managed to hit the button that switched Shindig into French. And would up watching about half of it. (With my high school and college French letting me catch about every fourth word.) Tres amusement!

If you haven't tried it, you should. There's something oddly disconcerting about hearing Jayne speak French. It's even more disconcerting that his name in French has two syllables (it becomes Jhay-nee).

Can't wait to see what happens to it in Spanish.

I do this with all DVDs, why? I do not know. In Spanish Firefly is hi-lerious.

Although the funniest movie dub in Spanish I've ever come across was the track on Tombstone. Most of it was okay, things like "smokewagon" and "skin it"...not so much.

"Pain is scary..."
