Don't get discouraged Corporal. I've had shindigs were no one showed up. A few where only one or two showed up, and I have had some wildly successful ones too. No matter what, we hold. We don't give up and we don't lose hope. It just ain't in a browncoat's genetic makeup.

hugs hun, hang in there. Houston crew had a failed first meetup too... actually had several folks show up, but no one was 100% certain who was there for the shindig so everyone wandered off and a meetup never happened. Attempt#2 met with more success, the second time, I gave my description (look for knee length red hair), another gal said " I have short purple hair" we found each other and that made a good beacon for others to find us.

Advertise advertise advertise (hit the big firefly boards, facebook, meetups.com etc.) If you build it, they will come, you just have to give it some time and elbow grease.

sad Sunday; lost one of our dear dogs. She shattered her leg; would have required major surgery to install pins, etc. Since she was 15+ years they couldn't say that it'd work very well so we made a hard choice. give your pets a special hug today in her memory, okay?
