Now that Mr. Baldwin has had some lines, any thoughts? Because I just have to say, WOW.

He was definitely showin his darker side. I liked it. So did anyone else think "Jayne is a girls name, well Jane ain't a girl" When Marcus told Angel "I'm not a little girl" Wife & I loved this episode. Left ya wanting more & with a very questioning look. Loved it!!

I was just blown away at how different he seemed (than Jayne). I mean, everything was different, the demeanor, the look, the voice. Terribly impressive acting.

I loved the whole scene in Angel's office.

He was so much a "villan" calm, collected, & very threatening.

Along with that nice little reference back to when Eve and Angel got magicked by Lorne and started getting it on behind Angel's couch...

"Sir, I would like to gingerly point out that it is difficult for someone to be gently reassuring when they're holding three and a half feet of sharpened steel."

Joss totally wowed me again. Even though I knew he was coming on the show, for some reason I didn't realize that that couple was talking about Connor until he showed up. I was trying to guess what their son was. Then I thwacked myself in the head for being dense and applauded Joss for surprising me with something I already knew. I cried like a heartbroken teenage girl when I saw the ending.

And Adam Baldwin was so very cool.

"Dear diary, today I was pompous and my sister was crazy."

Wow! I agree :)

My favorite interaction with Adam, though, was probably Gun's - the way Adam just turned on his heel and left when Gun said no was very well done.

Great stuff - Adam will make me enjoy what are sadly the last days of Angel much more - and I guess the work on the set builds up a relationship between him and Boreanis that will be needed for filming Serenity!

America loves a winner!

I think the line was something like.... " .we won't be making love on this couch any time soon" - or there abouts. Hi-larious!

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. Worked that out myself. "

I also liked the (assumed) FF shout-out when Spike gets thrown out through the doors in front of Angel and Connor and when he gets up, Spike yells something along the lines of "damn you, dirty Harlot!" (reminds me of Mals, "you dirty, dirty whore!" to Saffron when she leaves him stranded and nekkid)

Great episode.

Drew Goddard wrote this one and he never lets his audience down.

Damn those WB budget cuts... Just think how much better the teaser could have been if we'd actually been able to SEE the car crash Conner emerged unscathed from!

Play it out so we don't realize who had been hit until just before the opening theme plays... Conner wondering what the hell happened and how the hell he survived it.

I love the writing on the show and have enjoyed this season immensely, but the lack of a location shooting budget is very obviously being written AROUND.
