Nathan Fillion is proud to be a geek. When he’s not filming ABC’s mystery-comedy Castle, he can often be found viewing a loop of sci-fi and action movies (Avatar, the Star Trek franchise) in his trailer. “I’ve watched them a million times,” says the 39-year-old native of Edmonton, Canada, who has played the evil Caleb on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and a space captain in the series Firefly and its movie spin-off, Serenity. Kate Meyers caught up with him back on planet Earth. Continues at www.parade.com/celebrity/sunday-with/2011/03/13-nathan-fillion.html

OK. Now I feel less guilty for watching "Hoarders". I find stuff to throw out after watching it, too.

Good picture! Didn't know he was a Trekkie, wonder which series is his fav?

I agree with the hating the graffiti thing, not so sure I care about the grammar. Lost cause in this country(or MOST, for that matter)... I'm usually grateful if a post RESEMBLES English, heh...

Something that drives me nuts to this day is people ending sentences with prepositions. - Nathan Fillion
From now on, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put. - Sir Winston Churchill

We were not allowed to say “eh” in my house. Next on the list were double negatives, then split infinitives. - Nathan Fillion
Forcing modern speakers of English to not — whoops, not to split an infinitive because it isn’t done in Latin makes about as much sense as forcing modern residents of England to wear laurels and togas. Julius Caesar could not have split an infinitive if he had wanted to. In Latin the infinitive is a single word like facere or dicere, a syntactic atom. English is a different kind of language. It is an “isolating” language, building sentences around many simple words instead of a few complicated ones. - Steven Pinker http://mildopinions.wordpress.com/2008/06/12/split-infinitives-of-cour

I will stand cheerfully with Nathan in the Battle for the English Language,* but would never just dump a box of "hoard" if I had a well-known name.
Warhol boxes were auctioned for astronomical totals. Nathan has been known to donate old stuff at Cons. Why not set aside those hoard boxes for KNTR auctions?

*[rant] Yes, the prepositional thing can be silly but what about our now-confusing use of improper pronomials, hilarious misplaced modifiers, degraded conjugations and failure of agreement in number? huh? huh? - - it's not about puffy propriety as much as it's about clarity in an age when knowing what others mean - - quickly - - gains in importance day by day.[/rant]
