Ok just curious- How many other FFF members met someone either friend or SO on this site??

How many other because( in case you're not a regular) NVGhostrider and I met and subsequently married thanks to this site ( and the fact that he's awesome and wonderful and perfect and teh best husband in the world)

Aww thanks, but hey there are others. In fact two browncoats who met on this site just had twin boys and I know of at least 3 other marriages that resulted from meetings on this site or our sister 76th site

I'm telling you this site has powers... I think Haken is really cupid

Guys are usually raised to be competitive. Sports are all about competition. Plus the good ones are heavy on the strategy component. You can have a quarterback with the strongest arm and the fastest legs but if you don't call good plays you're in trouble. When your team wins you get to rub the other fan's faces in it. What's not to like?

The real question is if you ladies like dancing and shoe shopping so much why aren't you trying to make those more like sports so we'll be interested in them?

Mainly we don't make them like sports because we we don't want you interested. We want you to compliment the results.
As for the dancing thing...meh
I just can't figure the sports thing out because I become bored too easily and I really don't see why it matters who wins. It's just a game:)

Do you own only one pair of pants? or only one shirt?
In which case you need a pair of shoes for every outfit.
BTW one of the first things a woman will check out on a guy are his shoes. Does he know dress shoes go with dressy clothes? Are his shoes age appropriate? Do they show some recognition of basic fashion sense ( are they out of date or wildly mismatched)?
This is the guidepost to what kind of guy he is. If it's too nice, we know he's self obsessed. If they are really hopeless it tells you he's not good with details and has no real job prospects ( also side note many employers also make similar judgments)If they are age inappropriate you know the guy has issues with accepting responsibility and immaturity. If they are regimented and stiff, you know the guy is boring. If they are totally awesome and his appearance is super manicured and perfect...he's gay.
So really shoe obsession is an overarching dissection of your personality, employment prospects, IQ, attention to detail, and likelihood of sexual orientation.
Does that help?
