Well, to quote Jayne: "...I got man parts" and I thought it was funny. ...well, kinda funny anyway. haha I get the sneaking suspicion she likes the idea of being broken in half by Superman. haha

I worry about Mr. Whedon's penchant for killing off characters just when they get happy. What do you think will happen to Kaylee now that she finally got sexed by Simon?...in the engine room no less! I foresee a horrible accident in their afterglow where she gets caught in and mangled to death by the spinning engine.

haha By your logic, if I want to continue living, I should slap the next person who wishes me: "Have a nice day!" ;)

haha I recall a George Carlin sketch about people who insisted on wishing him a "nice day." Ah George. RIP

I've only been to CA once, on vacation. My wife and I spent seven glorious days bombing around between Oceanside (where friends lived) and San Diego, with a day trip to the desert. The picture I remember most is sunset at the ocean, setting together on a picnic table, under a palm tree and a full moon. *sigh* I've wanted to move there ever since, but I doubt we'll ever be able to.

Oh, I know. Unfortunately, we live in Michigan, so we can't just jump in the car and drive there in a few hours.

I mean, Michigan is a lovely place. We've lived here all our lives. We live fairly close to Lake Michigan. The summers are lovely, well pretty much every season but winter here is lovely...ugh...the winters. I'm just getting too damned old for these winters.

I think coastal, southern CA has perfect weather for me, ie. warm and dry but with that lovely breeze off the ocean.

Besides, people seem to have a lot more fun there than we do here! hahaha
