Merry Christmas to you and everyone else as well! That's an awesome Christmas card.

Also, let me take this opportunity to thank everyone for the donations they've given to keep the site going. Without you all, this site wouldn't exist, and therefore I am thankful that you are all here to share this wonderful journey.

Given the circumstances for which 'Firefly' came about and then untimely taken away from fans, the Browncoats are truly unique within the fandom community for their loyalty and their charity.

Again, Merry Christmas and my best wishes to you
all.

Merry Christmas browncoats! This thread makes me wonder what a Christmas on Serenity would have been like.

The more I get to know people the more I like my dogs.

OK everybody, it's finally time for me to do my one and only Xmas message, so here it is...

it's 0230 GMT, and The red robed anthropomorphic personification of the holiday season is currently doing his thing in Sao Paulo, Brazil. My question is, has everyone remembered to keep fires going in their hearths tonight?

Merry Xmas everyone.

Merry Merry to all y'all.
I watched the original 1966 Grinch show last night and decided it must have been a Grinch who stole our precious little show. But nothing happened to warm up his/her heart.
I fanficced a Firefly Holiday (remember Mal's injunction about God)several years ago but it seems to have been dumped in a little tragedy involving a dead computer. There was a pinata...

England. Middle-ish.

Santa has sort of been now. Apparently most of my stuff was involved in an 'ordering confusion' debacle and didn't get ordered until the 23rd. So I won't get that lot until about New Year going on delivery estimates.
Just about sums up my year!!

Merry Christmas to all. Some holiday tips: 1) The Lassiter will not get nog stains out of the carpet. 2) Be on your guard, Safron has been spotted "getting about" the ship with a sprig of mistletoe. I know 'tis the season and all but remember not to kiss her. 3) If you get a pony from Buddha this year we can't keep it in the cargo hold. 4) Plastic rockets are ok though. 5) We will not be attending the Reaver's party this year - one cup of blood punch is one more than enough for a lifetime. 6) Has anybody seen my Santa Hat?

Merry Christmas Wishes To All!

Here is a little Christmas cheer from those wonderful earlier days of Firefly fandom.
Michael Phillips was, (to my eyes, at least) the best Firefly artist out there.
I think Phillips did the best job of capturing the nuances of the characters
and the facial features of the actors who portrayed them.

Time to dust off this incredibly outdated account of mine and wish everyone a merry christmas from the very snowy Germany! I wonder if the old fan fiction I wrote ages ago is still somewhere around …

Oh my god, it really is: http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=7135 - talk about a blast from the past …

Whats on tap for tonight? Christmas cheer and Mudders Milk.
Oh, the recipe:
Recipe: Mudder’s Milk

from serenityfirefly.com

* 1 litre (1 quart) soy milk, plain
* 360ml (12 oz) stout such as Guinness, or other dark, full bodied beer
* 64g (1/2 cup) wheat germ
* 112g (1/2 cup) brewers yeast
* 180ml (6 oz) grain alcohol or vodka to taste

Mix the soy milk, stout beer, wheat germ and brewers yeast in a 2 litre/quart pitcher, stirring well. Chill before serving. Now, either add the grain alcohol to the whole batch to achieve the 15% alcohol that Jayne mentions or mix the “milk” with vodka to taste. Serve in rustic pottery mugs and get ready to sing “The Hero of Canton”!

Oooh you lucky bugger! I spoke to all the QMx folk at Dragon Con this year and that item almost sold out faster than anything else they've done.

That said, I got a lovely Serenity lit perspex display and a limited edition 35mm collection display with all 9 characters and the Operative from my lovely Browncoat wife :-)

(She also got that gorgeous Chinese Serenity pendant. I mean sure I spent way more on the chain to hang it on, but it's Christmas right? :-)

I loves Browncoats. Shiniest fans bar none.

Hope you all had a happy and peaceful Christmas/T day/holiday.

Nick
(see The Signal Holiday Special for the T day ref :-)
