If she's taken them down they should be down, certainly not for you to repost - you should respect her wishes.

I am a pirate of intellectual property. And Bytemite's stories are available on the Wayback Machine: www.archive.org/web/web.php

Revision 1: Van Gogh wanted his unsold canvasses burned and Kafka, his unpublished novels. If their wishes had been respected, the artists would be unknown today.
Bytemite's Firefly stories are also at www.fanfiction.net/u/544066/Bytemite
Since BardofShadow (see comment 5, below) couldn't find the stories on the Wayback Machine, I wrote the Bard where to find the stories.

So don't respect her then - your call.

As a friend of byte's, and as an admirer of her many achievements - her writing, her art, and not least of all, the warmth and encouragement that characterizes her interactions with so many people here - I have to say I hope this isn't contrary to her wishes. In everything I've seen, she goes out of her way not to hurt or disrespect the people around her.

Even pirates can be gallant :)

Bytemite is very special to me because puts up with the highly insecure me and my stories as a betareader and I know that I can only learn from her. Would love to read her stories though, as I am not yet familiar with them. Saw her art before I realized it was hers and got a lot of enjoyment from it. (Looooooooove the befuddled Simon-Bunny, it's to adorable.)
can't say thank you often enough.
