new converts - one by one

First - Since Firefly was cancelled I stopped watching network television... NO, I'm not joking. I'm tired of cool, truely original, programming being taken off the air because some exec doesn't get the numbers he or she wants.

Second, I have the boxset. I've been lending it out to friends and co-workers since January. Everyone - and I mean EVERYONE - who has watched it is now a Firefly fan! No exceptions! I get comments like, "Is there any more?", or "Is it still on TV?"

Now my growing fan clutch awaits the movie release in 2005 and have dim hopes that the aforementioned network execs will bring it back to TV... or create a series of movies.

Don't let this story die. Spread the word.

I've got about 5 converts, but I've had only about a 60% conversion rate (no one hated it, but a few said it was only OK or pretty good, so I don't consider those converts -- only those who like it enough to buy or ask to borrow all the disks)

Please help Haken keep this site running by occasionally clicking on some of the sponsored ad links on the side of the page!
