I was inspired to create a parody of Don McLean's "American Pie" as a tribute to Firefly. Hope you like.

haha cute, though some of the rhyme's (specially involving x's) can be, to quote Monty Python's Knights of the round table, 'Quite un-sing-Able' English can be a difficult language to write lyrically, and can be deceptively difficult to sing in.

But shiney idea! Sorry to go all music major on ya, but if you could tweak some of the syllables, try and end lines and phrases on some better vowels (ex. escapee will stretch the singers mouth sideways if the singer isn't careful, resulting in rather suck tone quality. Good vowels for holding notes draw the mouth to open more vertically for better resonance), this could quite singable.

Nice. Find someone with the right pipes and record it.
