I've been watching season 2 of dollhouse. Everyone on it is brilliant but Alan Tudyk Is bloody amazing as Alpha. I'm always impressed by his acting skill.(oh yeah and there's a bit of a crush there somewhere too). I don't understand how he hasn't won any awards yet. He pretty much surpasses everyone's performance on most things he's been in (except Firefly/Serenity where they are all standouts). E.g. when I ask people about 28 days, Dodgeball or Death at a Funeral, they tend to talk about his characters first.

I think of his guest performances on other TV shows as well (especially his CSI appearance) where he just out-acts everyone else on the screen. Mark Sheppard has a similar thing going on whenever he appears 'cept he's just not as widely known as Alan.

On that note I'd like to see the two of them do something together. Could be a good match up.

Oh what woman doesn't have a crush on Nathan? every woman I know I've either loaned Firefly to or who watches Castle is in the same boat.Funny coz I never quite got the Nathan thing until I watched Firefly with commentaries a year after I bought it and I was a huge devotee of two guys and a girl and Buffy too, so weird...have had an Adam crush since I was about 14...this way I can avoid romance with people i'm actually likely to meet :-).

I have to agree. Alan is a stellar actor. I turned into a total blob of squealing fangirl around the man. My crush on him is pretty bad, too. He's hilarious and he's cute. It's not the biggest crush I have, but he definitely makes the top five :biggrin:

Beatupplenty I think I get ya...its mostly about the laugh induction for me. A lot of my female friends were all ooh aah about the nudity in Trash and the shirt off in Serenity, but I've gotta say it's never about the looks and the body for me. It's always about the behaviour, what seems to be in the brain and what comes out of the mouth. Oh yeah and good personal hygiene is a biggy for me too.Cat respecting is always a bonus. And yes unattainable is always best for those of us who don't actually wanna go there :-).

Loved him in Dodgeball. Death at a Funeral, he wasn't given enough to do for my taste - but he was HI-larious.

I did not know he was in 28 Days. So I streamed it on Netflix and I nearly fell off my chair. He must have been, what, 18 yo there, he looked so young. Alan, my friends, is truly gifted. Why he isn't working more is beyond me.

Were I of the girl persuasion, I would take him in a womanly fashion. ;-)
