TRAVELER

I just heard. We have lost another fine actor. I have enjoyed his work for years. I remember him in "Apocalyse Now". The insane photo juornalist. If my poor memory serves me right the photograher kept snaping photos but had long since ran out of film and all the time shouting instructions to guide their boat into shore. I don't remember the titles of most of the films he was in, but he would show up in some offbeat movie I would be watching late into the night. He was the highlight of "Waterworld".

LWAVES

A great man who got over trouble that would have ended most actors careers.

My fave moments of his are his storytelling to Chris Walken in True Romance. Two fine actors in a great scene that is so funny but shouldn't really be.

Sleepwalking. A highly under-watched film where he has a smaller role but is just as effective.

The deliriously weird Blue Velvet. David Lynch at his best with a compelling performance by Hopper.

Plus Speed, Apocalypse Now and a notable turn in 24.
If you look at IMDB it appears as if he never stopped working.
