If Jayne knew about her I think she's in his bunk.

If not I think she's left to rot in Mr. Universe's compound.

If Buffy bot is any example then Joss might have found a use for her. Really I thought she did a heck of a job acting like a bot. I wouldn't have minded her having an expanded role in future work. If there was going to be future work.

In the Firefly universe, a Lovebot is a very luxurious item. In todays marketplace it would be the equal of an individual owning their own 60 ft. yacht(with all the bells and whistles).

I'm guessing Mr. Universe must have been born into a very wealthy family.

Lovebot's whereabouts after Serenity?
Alliance took everything.

Odd that you'd assume he was born into wealth, rather than making his own. He seems rather anti-Alliance for that; more like the underground type, like Fanty and Mingo.

Yep. Canon and semi-canon sources I've seen indicate Mr. Universe stole his money using his hacking skills, and hacked himself a top grade in flight school so he could flee from planets when he wanted to without relying on anyone else.

There's a brief mention of his complex in the white papers. It's one of the asteroid belts, the rock is unnamed, and the complex was abandoned until he found it (or maybe even dug down and learned about it, then went looking). However, turns out it's a good place to pick up signals.

The lovebot? Reavers mistook it for human and were disappointed/electrocuted. Successive Reavers tried to get their revenge. Turns out that the human intestinal tract isn't a big fan of plastic. Hilarity ensues.

I never read the novelization, but I thought some people said he obtained the planet by hacking around and changing enough documents to convince everyone it was uninhabitable.

It's possible. All I know is that it's in an asteroid belt, probably a converted asteroid itself, located at the ass end of nowhere and that it somehow, despite gravity and a seeming lack of interest in it by anyone, it has breathable atmo.

Could be it was being terraformed for some reason, and the complex is a terraforming station, hence the oxygen, but Mr. Universe convinced them to abandon it. Fully believable.

Maybe he convinced the astro-miners/terraformers to give it up , by giving them some of those hacked credits , which seemed a good idea to them , 'cause it beat busting rocks for a living...

Correction: It is in the communication ring at same orbital distance as Kalidasa Sun, it is a comm station. Between White Sun and Blue Sun/Miranda. Handy place to manipulate signals. It exists, but he may have convinced everybody that he is not there.

Appears to be Answer #1, according to the final scene of funeral/memorial/burial service for Wash, Book and Mr Universe. The hologram on the pedestal included 2 faces, Mr U and Ms Lovebot.

So was she buried dead or alive? And was she into necrophilia?
