You guys remember the comments I made not to long ago about how we could "see" the end of this journey? The info was scarce, but real because it was coming from the true sources themselves?

As I recall, I compared it to my buddies and I being able to 'see' the end of our deployment here.

Well, I sit here, a mere seven weeks (or less) from being able to come home from this "special hell" they've sent me to, and I feel the same sort of swell in my chest that I feel when I read and re-read every little bit of internet info on the now-completely-official-not-just-a-pipedream Firefly movie. I know I'm just repeating what's been said, but it bears repeating.

We did it.

They didn't take the sky from us.

We did the impossible, and that makes us mighty.

Oh yeah. . .I'm too damn pretty to die.
