Navy... you flirting with me? Cuz I like you as a friend but..... XD

I do concur though, all deserve steak if they are of the carnivoric persuasion.

(sets up the grill)
(cooks some steaks)

I almost have my new grill figured out and have been making tasty grilled meat type things the past couple weekends. I hope to have it perfected by spring! Mmmm grilled meats!

A bar that serves steak? Best. Bar. Ever!

I might have to buy myself a big ole slab of meat in the near future. But considering there's still that evil awful cold white stuff out there, I'll have to settle with the broiler.

Hey now, y'all know I lean towards wimmenfolk, dont you go encouraging him.

I am in agreement with that next part though, the best bars are ones that serve steak. Sometimes it's why I agree to go on the drunken nights out with my chums, one of the bars in town does a good steak and we'd often start off there. Now I want steak, is that an accepted breakfast food?

Hey all,

at home for two days to catch up with OU work due to falling massively behind due to looking after other half following wisdom tooth extraction and crazyness at work last week.

A heady morning of dealing with second-order differential equations and right now inhomogeneous differential equations.

Could be a long day so will pop in for company, virtual steak as that doesn't give me IBS and virtual alcohol.

Kel, have a pint of finest on me sir, good to see you de-lurk and hope you are well.

Now about these hugs...

*settles into corner with laptop, pile of books, paper, trusty pencil, calculator and pint of ale*

*magics up drinks for everyone*

You're the one who commented that you were involved in the laying and hugging, not me. Maybe there's some Freudian thing going on...

Also, I would like to take a vacation from reality. It sucks hard when you don't want to be home but you obviously don't want to go to work or class either.

It is at many, many truck stops across the USA. Steak and egg, possibly with pancakes(flapjacks, griddlecakes, hoecakes) and almost certainly with hashbrowns or homefries. Plus probably grits.

Morning all,

steak is also part of the all day breakfast at a certain chain of Australian theme pubs in Blighty.

Another day has dawned, more maths to do, drinks for all!

*magics up drinks for all*

All true to a ridiculous extent Keep meaning to mail you back about those videos you linked me to. Cutest.

Hey there, Kel Rundown? Hm. School. Lots of schoolwork. All the time. Lots of unsure-ness. Can't eat sugar anymore. Well. I can, but it's extremely inadvisable and would eventually lead to major badness. Guvmint gave me money for all the school that I'm continually unsure about. Yay for them not always sucking. I'm fortunate enough to be getting fairly regular hugs and sex from a man who, oddly enough, finds valentine's day tacky and unworthy and would no doubt like the idea of hugandfuck day.

There are many pages of dry, business-related text I should be reading. I do not like them. I'll probably go for listening to more Dresden Audio Files and trying to perfect my poster design for the week, instead.

KEL!!!!!!!! *MEGAGLOMPOFDOOOOOM*

Run down? Um, wasn't that a movie with The Rock... good movie... OH! I mean, nothing really exciting with me. Just busy with life and a few bumps in the road of life, blah blah blah, not very interesting... But the most pressing thing right now... I'm snowed in and can't get outta my driveway! Not kidding, they haven't plowed my street and I can't drive on it without getting stuck. Stupid, useless, weak, lil car... At least we got the van out. That thing is a tank in the snow! Gonna have to head out in a lil while and finish digging out the other half of my driveway. The plus side: snow fort of win and a snowman, of course!!

Nothing going on with me except for work and school. They want me to decide if I want to do networking or IT security. I don't know which one to pick

Good to hear peeps.

Avery... depends on what you want to do. Network Engineering normally gets you in to a 24/7 oncall suituation cuz if the network goes down you had better fix it. Where the IT Security ... not so much cuz it is still IT.

Networking is fun but the market is pretty flooded because most of your computer type people understand it and can do it, but IT Security is a specialized job. You do not just hire anyone with computer skillz. If you are looking for a Security Professional that is all you will accept. <--- I would also assume it pays better :)

O_O!!!!!! Wow, that sounds kind of like where my brother used to live. His street was the very, absolute last in Manchester to be plowed whenever it snowed, and they get some bad snow. Yikes, glad you got the 'tank' out at least.

*glomps Kel*

MsA: I second that last sentiment, lol.

Hi Kel! I have a NEW new job. I've only been there a week, but it doesn't seem to suck as much as the old one did. I'm pretty bored there, but we'll see how it goes. It's a steady check I guess...

We were plowed, but the roads were crap this morning. Plus: people drive like idiots. There was one car that had snow over half the windshield and the passenger was brushing it off from inside the car as they drove along.
wow. just wow.

Hubby and boychild are well. I'm gearing up for Spring. Both cars were just paid off, so of course I got ambushed by a deer. We were supposed to get the car back from the body shop yesterday, but they didn't have the headlight, and they didn't have it again due to weather, so now we're looking at Monday. Yippee. I'm just waiting for a tree to take out both cars at the same time.

yikes on the deer strike, no injuries I hope? (well, other than the deer, though I don't like it when animals get hurt either )

lol, it often seems that even people who live in winter areas for some reason lose all ability to drive when that stuff hits the ground lol. I once saw a person back out of a driveway with EIGHT INCHES of snow on the passenger side of the car, roof, windshield, and rear window (the passenger windows hadnt been cleared either, just the driver's side).

Fingers crossed on the newly started job, I hope it goes well for you. steady paychecks are always a plus :)
