I hope you all enjoy this humorous chart illustrating what groups believe themselves to be the least geeky. Interested to find out where some of you put yourselves
note: I didn't create this, just stumbled on it

There's no place I can be since I found Serenity.

I identify with just two of those blocks, "Science Fiction Literature Fans" and "Science Fiction Television Fans," although I wish I had the talent to be in the top box.

As do I, since I fall primarily into the "Amateur Science Fiction Writer" box. Not to judge, but the term japanimation gets me every time and if you don't think this is funny then I'm sure I can dig up some links to erotic x-files fan fics that'll make you see things differently.
We geeks gotta be able to laugh at ourselves.

Yup, I'm in those two, plus the "Video Gamers" box.

Hoo lordy, there goeth my reputation as a thug...

Sci-Fi lit, given.

Anime, video games, prettymuch everything on rack three, side order of knowing some really profane stuff in Klingon, but in my defense, I did drive a cab so I can cuss you out in almost ANY language.

I do note that they kind of skipped out on the technical end where geekdom starts to cross the line into mad scientist territory, but let's pretend I have no explicit reason to have noticed that...

And the low end of the chart once again begs the question.
Do catgirls count as furries ?

I'd like to see browncoats above trekkies. I feel like trekkies are way nerdier.

I saw something very much like that a number of years ago. I think I might have a link or a copy of it somewhere. Pretty hilarious.

Note: The version posted above is a subset of the one I remember, which was "R rated".

Depends entirely upon the recency of their maintenance in that area...

Browncoats are way cooler than Trekkies.

BTW I read Sci Fi and write a tiny bit of fan fiction, but none of it erotic or Mary Sueish.

And if you want to see X-rated fan fic try some of the True Blood Eric/Godric slash (hey, they are both vampires so should it be fang slash?). Definately not my cup of tea.

I'd think that Browncoats go in the 'science-fiction television fans' box, hence are less geeky.

I certainly fit in some of those boxes. I just wonder where you would rate a person who byes a brand new Harley and has it rebuilt with custom everything and spends 10k or more on a paint job.
Just saying there is a little geek in everyone or how many geeks can stand on the tip of a pin because I suspect the Earth has several billion.
