No, not in a fight- that just wouldn't be fair.

I mean as in what's your favourite?
TOS Enterprise?
TMP refit?
The Abramsprise?
The series Serenity?
or
The movie Serenity?

Favourite ? Did you just go British and fall asleep ?

Favorite Enterprise is Matt Jefferies' TOS Classic , with Robert McCall's TMP refit close behind in second ,
but I don't mind the Abrams' exteriors...The interiors look a bit too contrived and Apple-store for my liking...

Favorite Serenity , interior-wise is TV-series' version , but I like the new interior bulkheads and the landing gear of the movie version...

The movie-Serenity seems a bit too rivet-laden for my taste , but yeah , the gear-legs on movie-Serenity are much more sturdy , not weak and spindly as on the Firefly-version...

Tough questions , those...

If I had to put Enterprise head-to-head against Serenity , then I'd take Serenity , 'cause she seems like home...

... fully loaded, safety off...

Series Serenity it reminds me of the '68 Ford pickup I used to have - got it for $250, put an ad in the paper "Moving and Hauling, $25 a Load," no job was too big or too small.

The movie Serenity is too cold (blue) by comparison.

To live in, of course it'd be Serenity (movie version, it's just so cool), but just to look at, I'd say the refit Enterprise.
But, right after watching Serenity, I may answer differently, of course.

TRAVELER

I'm going to walk the fence on this one. Each vessel was created to match the purpose and the crew that served on them.
I like the original Enterprise. I do feel the engines sticking out so far from the main ship rather odd. But that does not distract from her looks The clean lines make it look like 56 Chevy. In other words "Cherry".
I like TV Serenity for the lived in look and also how it matched the personality of the crew that flew in her. It is a ship the just screams, "I am your home". The work that was obviously Kaylee's added to this feel. I'm speculating that Kaylee painted the kitchen. Who else on board would paint the vines and flowers on those kitchen walls. Because the Enterprise must meet military regulations it would not be allowed to add these personal touches. So I don't fault her for having a clean and dull interior.
So call me a coward for not choosing sides, but this is how I feel about these ships.

I like to post questions that put peeps against the wall- you're no coward for refusing to choose one over the other.
For me, the Enterprise is where I grew up, Serenity is where I moved into later, when I had to start paying bills. In a bad economy.
Keeps me real.

Keep the Shiny side up

Gotta be the series Serenity. had the 'tramp freighter' look down real well. Not too clean in spots it didn't matter. A good bit of the crew's personality worked into the 'decor'. Stuff just laying around out of the way.

I like Serenity in the series. I like Enterprise 2009. I couldn't live on either one however. I never had the discipline to be in a military environment as in Trek, and I'm too attached to creature comforts to make it on Serenity.
